Matthew Allen - Injuries have killed his year and i would suspect it is his last. Has filled the role we needed him to fill but we have 3 young rucks to take his place.
Mark Alvey - Has had a few more oportunities earlier this year but didnt make an impact . Could have been given a little more game time to prove himself but overall he has been disappointing. His VFL form the last 6 weeks or so has been a bit patchy as well. the end is near.
Mark Bolton - contracted next year so we may not see the end of him yet. The fact he has played 1 good season in his career says it all.
Kepler Bradley - started with a bang. His form dropped off after the Freo game when he injured his ribs. Has made a pleasing return to the seniors since being dropped to the seconds. So far he has looked great.
Marc Bullen - has had his chances , with close to 50 games he should be doing more. Simply isnt up to it.
Tristian Cartledge - Has had a very good year in the VFL . Has shown good ruck work skills and good skills around the ground. Didnt do a lot in the 2 games he has played this year but did enough. He is definately on the improve.
Damian Cupido - Had a horrible start to the year but to his credit has worked hard to regain his spot. Still has a lot to do to get anywhere near his form from 2 years ago but IMO has earned another crack at it.
Ricky Dyson - slow start to the year but he has been getting better every week. His good VFL form was rewarded with a senior promotion and he has done well since. Looks like he will be the player a lot of us think he will be.
Dustin Fletcher - has been great this year , has only had a couple of poor games. Is playing close to his best.
Ben Haynes - is finished. His form in the VFL is often good for a quater and then he goes missing . Makes too many errors at VFL level let alone at AFL level.
Aaron Hennoman - I think it has all been said too often. Has had his chance to make it this year and although his efforts have been an improvement on the past he still hasnt done enough.
David Hille - has done a good job this year given he lost a lot of weeks early in the season with injury. Form has been pretty good when he has played.Still has that tease factor though as he is yet to consistantly play at a level we have seen him produce on occasions.
James Hird - James is James. Not as good as he was but still a star. Hope he plays another couple of years.
Sam Hunt - Has had a great year in the VFL but it hasnt converted into senior oportunities. Has had 2 games and not delivered anything in the limited game time he has had.Is still prone to poor disposal every now and then but his VFL form this year has been very consistant. He is 3 to 4 cm too short and probaly 5kg too light to make an impact as a key position player at AFL level which has probably killed his chances. His defencive work for Bendigo this year has been great.
Courtney Johns - Hasnt dominated but at least he is playing. It is not suprising he has taken so long to find his feet after missing so much time.
He will only benifit from the games he has had this year and being able to do a full pre season.
Jason Johnson - has had another good year being in our better players most weeks. Has had some games where his disposal has been lazy but over all a good year.
Mark Johnson - has bounced back well after last years disaster. Close to our best this year.
Jason Laycock - Started off really well. His form has been worse as the season went on and he would have been close to being dropped if he didnt get injured. He has shown he has improved again this year and looks to have a bright future.
Andrew Lee - not much to report here. Has virtually missed the whole year. Hopefully he is ready to go for pre season.
Matthew Lloyd - has had a shocker but hasnt been helped by our terrible delivary either. May have come back too early and he lakced confidence in his marking at certain stages. Has fought back into reasonable form but it is a year he would want to forget.
Scott Lucas - very good for most of the season. Has had a couple of poor ones but the majority of games he has given 110%
Adam McPhee - injuries have troubled him all year and kept him from playing at his best.
Mark McVeigh - has been solid but hasnt been spectacular. Has played a couple of really good games but it doesnt look like he will make it as a mid fielder.
Mark Alvey - Has had a few more oportunities earlier this year but didnt make an impact . Could have been given a little more game time to prove himself but overall he has been disappointing. His VFL form the last 6 weeks or so has been a bit patchy as well. the end is near.
