Angus Monfires - Has been great in his first year . Has couage and skill. All he needs now is a little more size.
Justin Murphy - Hasnt been as good as last year but has played some good footy. Never going to be a player who is loved as he is soft and has no defence. Question is do we have any use for him now? is he only taking up a spot that could be better used developing a younger player?
Jay Nash - has gone ahead a lot this year . Has been a bit of a quiet achiever in the VFL playing mainly back but has done really well when asked to play up the ground. I would be shocked if he didnt feature in our seniors more next year.
Damian Peverill - Has had an ordinary year . He simply hasnt got the tallent to play the silky outside link man and has looked bad doing it. On the plus side he has lifted greatly in the last few games. needs to get back to his old hard style to be any value to us.
Adam Ramanauskus - unfortuneatly did his knee to end his season.
Joel Reynolds - has once again had injury problems . He has a go and gives it his all but i dont think Joel is up to it.
Ted Richards - VFL form has been excellent and consistant. Played a couple of good senior games early and one really bad one. Has responded well since his recall. Hopefully he can take the much needed next step. i would be inclined to give him another year.
Dean Rioli - another year of the same. He is so good when he is fit but it isnt too often. It is frustrating but he isnt a player you can disgard.
Henry Slattery - his form just got better and better as the year went on. Was great to see him go well in his first game and terrible for him to get injured the week after. Played well at his first game back for Bendigo last week. Looks good.
Dean Solomon - has had a year he would rather forget. has had knee problems all year and to say it has frustrated him is an understatement.
Has bbeen calls to get rid of him but i feel Solly fits into the same boat as MJ last year. Forget and forgive.
Brent Stanton - has continued to get better and is at the stage where he gets 20 odd possesions every week and has an impact on the game. Still has to work on his disposal but he just keeps getting better.
Paul Thomas - hasnt had the impact that most expected . He lacks pace but he does attack the ball hard and doesnt mind getting in and rolling up his sleeves. Has played a couple of good games but his size and lack of spped are question marks.
Jobe Watson - hasnt had any impact at senior level but has been damagin at times in the VFL when he hasnt been injured. To me he is simply too slow for our midfield. He has very good vision and skills but he just lopes along. For him to make it i thinke he has to develop into a dangerous forward/back. He has the size , now he just has to remain injury free.
Andrew Welsh - Hasnt been as good this year but neither has the whole side.Im sure he will bounce back.
Jason Winderlich - Has been pretty good when he has been on the field. VFL form has been fantastic and has done wll in his few senior games. looks like he will deliver.
Ty Zantuck - hasnt done much at all. Basicly he has had a continuation of what he was at Richmond.Looks like he needs to improve his attitude anolg with his form.
Ryan Bain - hasnt been great playing a lot of games in the Bendigo seconds. Has had a few oportunitites and at times has looked good but needs to do a lot more.
Ben Jolly - another who has kept getting better all year . He looks like another definate senior contender.
Andrew Lovett - has excited for most of the year . Has had a few quiet ones but overall he has had a great year.
Nathan Lovett-Murray - Has been a bit patchy this year mixing some very good games with some average ones. He still has some work to do but has looked good at half back. Next year he does need to stand up to be counted.
Adrian Wilson - has had a great year in the VFL and surely he has earnt a promotion to the senior list. Gives a lot of run from defence.
