I wasn't sledging either by the way, and I was only being honest about my feelings on the look of the Carlton side for 2006, so I apologise for upsetting anybody. As for my team, I feel that a repeat of 2002-03 is possible, as is a repeat of the last two seasons as the best Collingwood team does include many players with Grand Final experience as well as the down turn that has occurred since, so anywhere from a Grand Final to 15th is possible in that case with Collingwood, and injuries will play a part. The reasons to be optimistic though are reasonable because in 2002-03, Collingwood had the youngest playing list and played the most footy of all teams, and that included two premiership season Grand Finals, one pre-season Grand Final, and an exhibition match in London.

That amount of footy definitely effected the preparation of the last two seasons because a full pre-season was not possible, and this was shown last season with a terrible amount of injuries. The Collingwood backline is very good, and the potential of the forward line is even better. Last season, Chris Tarrant missed a lot, and was on one leg when he played. Rocca played two full matches before his injury. Buckley missed more than the first half of last season. Didak missed plenty and was unfit when he played, and Josh Fraser played 5 matches. This led to Blake Caracella and Travis Cloke receiving the best defenders of the opposition, and they both played well considering. Next season though with a fit Rocca, Tarrant, Fraser, and Didak in the forward line along with Buckley, T.Cloke, Caracella, Rusling and others leads to much optimism. The midfield needs improving, but it is good, and sometimes it's okay to lose in the middle and then launch an attack from the backline, because that is what Sydney did in every match last season, and they won the premiership.

We don't give a ******** about Collingwood here mate, so ******** off to the Collingwood board. Or even better, why don't you go to the NFL Board talk about the Seahawks or something?

Another thread that could be raised on the COLLINGWOOD BOARD, "Why does Carlton have a superior head to head record against the Magpies" or "Your worst day @ the football, (a)1938GF, (b)1970GF, (c)1979GF, (d)1981GF or (e) all of the above?"

Justin Crow may not be there next season, should have delisted Campo so we get another pick, would have liked to have drafted him (even at 21yrs).

Watched a few of his games this season (2005) and did better than some of the blokes that played in the ones.

Why would we need another pick when we just passed on our last pick in the recent draft?

Camporeale's spot on the list will be utilised for Dylan Mclaren in any event.

It's friggin hard to leave players out i need a bigger interchange bench but this is what i would like to see us try next year although some might not be ready eg: Hartlett Bower Russell O'hAilpin but could be and all will be good players plus we have to try something different at FB and CHB and i think Bower is almost big enough to play straight away. Either way just looking at the list tells me there will be a big fight for spots next year and years to follow. Looking good BLUES FANS

Talented list that had Carlton finish last, and also favourites to do it again in 2006? Earlier this evening on the radio, Gerard Healy said that with some luck with injuries, there is no reason that Collingwood can't be a part of the action in the last couple of weeks next season. For that to be said, he must feel that our list is quite good, and certainly a lot better than Carlton's. I think I'll accept his opinion on that ahead of yours.

That just shows how pathetic they were last year to finish 15th i know which list i would prefer going forward

I'm glad you agree with me...I would prefer the Collingwood list too, and as Gerard Healy said last night, there is no reason that with some luck, Collingwood can't be involved in the last couple of weeks of next season again. I thought by not using our last pick in the Draft it gave us a the first pick in the PSD, if I am wrong I apoligize mate.

Anyway I would have liked us to pick up J.Crow, I was impressed with his year at the Bullants so I hope he decides to stick around next season.

Hopefully now with Collingwood looking at Campo he will decide to stay.

No he meant the finals because the season ends at the end of September. Again he was pumping up the Magpies earlier anyway, and this time he said that Collingwood don't have many deficiencies at all, and are capable of winning the premiership with some luck with injuries.

Dwayne Russell then said that there are definitely two teams won't be winning the premiership...Carlton and Hawthorn. No surprise ay?
