Re: Pro Bowl

Vick and Ogden are jokes. Both have been terrible this year. Merriman also did nothing for half a year, very, very lucky. I feel he only got in because of the Colts game.

Re: Pro Bowl

Good effort by the Bears to get 6 guys to Hawaii. The usuals in Kreutz and Urlacher are there, and good to see Mike Brown get some recognition, if this guy isn't one of the most underrated players in the league, i'll go jump. Harris was a surprise inclusion, but he has had a good year. Vasher was a monty with 8 picks, but i'm utterly stoked to see Briggs finally get some recognition. Ogunleye, Maynard and Jones all had cases, but you can't get everyone in.

Vick is a joke, and Peppers is another who got in on name alone, he's been patchy.

Re: Pro Bowl

Vick has not completed a pass over 20yds since week 4!!!!

His 13/32 for 122yds, 0 TD's and 2 INT's against the Bears mighty impressive too. :thumbsu:

He even managed to throw a pass to himself . . . for a 14 yd loss. :D

Just shows again the Pro Bowl is a marketing exercise and nothing more.

Re: Pro Bowl

Surprised to see no Hines Ward. Maybe if he had a better QB to get him the ball he would have got in.

Re: Pro Bowl paychecks for JD's Nawlins

Any time fans can vote using the internet, the credibility goes out the window.

I'm not fan of this method either but as JD says, it's more about the marketing of the NFL. Only a percentage of internet votes come into consideration so don't throw flames at the NFL dude.

I'd expect much of the PAYCHECKS of the chosen players to go into the New Orleans relief fund so JD can start enjoying his NFL abit more.
