Shepherd kicked 20.14 in a match a couple of years ago.

Obviously most sides are'nt at full strength...or are they !? interesting to see Districts don't look at full strength yet, have they lost any from last season premiership side and is the same victorian posse coming up again !?

That's sensational, JDC!

Re: G. Puruntatameri, he'd be on the other side of 30, yeah?
Can be dangerous around goal but was well held and cut out of it in last season's GF. More likely a year-by-year proposition for the Bomber boys. Very experienced though so will be a good addition up forward like the role Dean Rioli played last season.

Good to Shep back for another tilt.
He's good for the Maggies, and the game.

Sad to see young Ruckman Brad Stephensen's name not in the Wanderers side!
Most prolly won't play at all this year because of an ACL injury!
Wanderers had no answer to Waratahs Ruckman!

Waratahs easily over Wanderers by close to 100 pts..... They look dangerous up fwd and through the mids however Wanderers might just need a few weeks to find some form little underdone...

Karpanny looked good for Wanderers along with Wurramarrba.

Waratahs moved the ball well and Matthews looked well placed up fwd...

St Marys upset the new guys Tiwi bombers by just over a kick...the defence by St Marys was just too strong with Illet and Lohde looking to be dominant this year...Tiwi moved the ball well however some poor disposal cost them dearly....Very entertaining game and St Mary's look to be back to their best......

Southern Districts were in front of Darwin by 99 points at 3-quarter time. When the players went out to start the last quarter, the ground sprinklers came on. The stopped the game and the players walked off the field and that was it.

Frank Matthews kicked 8 for Tahs.
Ben AhMat kicked 7 in 3 quarters for Districts.

They need a couple of forwards because Tirus Walker, Ashley Wedding and Kyle Archibald will not be returning.

St Mary's, massive turnaround from the Umpires Carnival.
Will Wanderers ever get it together?
Ground sprinklers coming on? Bloody amateur hour. There's some handy percentage gone begging that Majo could be spewin' about down the track.

do you have the teams from the game today(sunday)? and any results? i know its hard to say this early on, but any early flag favourites? tiwi's seem to have slipped from there success last year, t/f?

St Marys will be diffently up there this year and i think it's not going to get any better for Wanderers as they have not much to choose from at the club!
I think they need about 4 or 5 key postion players to have any hope this year!
Darwin are just woeful and it will be them or Wanderers at the bottom this year!

Southern Districts and Waratahs will be up there.

St Marys and Tiwi Islands could also be a chance.

Buffs and Wanderers aren't much and Palmerston play Nightcliff today.
