Agree with your comments re Suban. The game against the Bombers showed his class, especially his accurate long kicking. His hurt factor is right up their with Hilly for mine. His attitude is first class also.

Agreed. His goal sense is excellent. Same with Hill.
Love De Boer. A few passages of play there just showed him as completely unafraid of super stars, such as Judd.

And that video didn't even show any highlights from Suban's Essendon game. Suban will definitely be more than just an average player.

One thing I noticed in the video was some comically hopeless efforts of guys like Peake and Bradley and to a lesser extent Schammer, with the young guys on hand to clean up their mistakes.

Yeah, agree on Peake. So glad he is gone.
I love the way he seems to find a way through traffic around goals. Quick thinker and very good with his hands too. What a bargain for a Rookie pick. Taken in isolation you can see why he slipped with his average kicking but put him alongside elite kicks like Suban and Hill as the man who gets the ball out by hand and he becomes a gem.
Plenty of 50m plus goals from Suban and Hill - that is so dangerous as it opens up the forward 50 as people have to come out to meet them.
I also like the way Clancee goes about it. Not the fastest out there but puts his head over the ball and just knows how to play footy.

Yep he isn't afraid to take them on, I think he will become a very useful inside mid/tagger for us.
Someone should do an epic vid including highlights from Palmer/Mayne/Ibbo as well as more from Hilly/Broughton/Suban/Ballas/De boer etc.
Not me though
That goal from Hilly against Geelong is probably my favourite moment of the season.

For me it's a toss up between two moments:
The first Derby when Hill broke away from the pack and kicked that goal.
Or the game against Essendon at Subi when Suban kicked a goal from the pocket I think in the second half? He'd been on fire all game and I was sitting at a perfect angle to watch him split the middle. That moment cemented Suban as one of my favourite players.
