2008 Plans - What to do?

I have thought about how much I hate when we lose a game, but I feel the best thing we can do for rest of this year is to only play those who are either in consideration for delisting/trade or youngsters we want to give some experience & a chance to prove they belong at the top level.

this will prep the new coach for trade time & 2008 & also allow time for the players who are serious about footy to prove their worth.

We would also want to continue to develop our young players such as Brock, bate, ect who earn a game automatically but need to gain more exp, but our mature players such as Bruce, Green, Neitz, Robo, Davey do not need to prove anything & their place in team will only stop the coach from getting a real look at the rest of the list.

I want the rest of 2007 to be all about next year, we had the list to prove we are not fickle round 1 this year but injuries did not allow this.

Go Dee's!

That's pretty much how its turning out, i'm hoping Brent Moloney plays and gets through the rest of this season unscathed.

When I said I could cop a few losses I didn’t mean by that much & a complete capitulation at that.

Any way I liked what I saw from Newton & Buckley.

But wouldnt it be up to the new coaching panel as to who is up for delisting/trade?

That is true but blind Freddy can see the players who need to be looked & the younger players that need to be blooded.

How can they make a educated decision when we play like this?

I did see a few but we should be so much better!

Who pulled thier weight?

Why did it take so long in the season to play Newton when all and sundry were howling for him Weeks and Weeks before. Me thinks it had somthing to do with dear Neale and his cohorts.

Was just looking at an old thread I posted & my how times have changed, instead of looking into the abyss were on our way out, with a heap of young talent & good times ahead.

I hope.

:D

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

I'm trying to remember if I were sarcastic then or not. I did like Newton and Buckley at the time so maybe it was just a sarcastic suggestion but, then again, I rather liked Graham and Murphy for periods too.
