I'm going to sound like a complete novice, but must admit i'm not a particularly regular gambler, but i was wondering what 'Line Betting' meant?

For eg. Geelong is priced at $1.34 for a straight WIN over Adelaide, however they are priced at $1.91 for -22.5, $2.00 for -25.5, and $1.72 for -19.5.

Thanks for any clarification.

In that situation it would mean that, if you bet on them for the -22.5, you are betting that they will win by 22.5 points or more....ie. 23+

If their line had been +22.5, it would mean that you are betting that they will either win or get within 22.5 points of the winner.
