200 games is a long time in the Sweet FA, so it's worth noting when one of the good guys of the league hits that mark. This week Loonerty is that good guy, which is why I'm here to point out how much this league has ****ed him over.

This is what Loonerty has accumulated in his time in the Sweet FA:

68 of those games were as a Roy, a team abandoned because Loonerty is a young and vibrant fresh thinker. 26 of those games were played as captain of the East Side Hawks because Loonerty is a young and vibrant fresh thinker. But has the league rewarded him for his young and vibrant fresh thinking? No. Let's take a look at where the league has ignored greatness, and chosen mediocrity and/or abysmal contributions instead:

The Season 19 EKA Medal
Most of this award's presentation is shrouded in secrecy, the voting process and even the record of votes are lost to the annals of time. What is known is the result, and that all players mentioned in this result (Willo_, Millky95, and some random called toxic) have failed to notch 100 games in the league. How could an award made specifically for recognising the potential of new players have got this so wrong?

The Season 28 Mobbs Medal
Whilst it should be noted that every Mobbs count is a farce, none were moreso than in Season 28 where despite being the league leader in that fantastic metric known as DT, Loonerty was usurped by another god-damned Swamprat (congrats again philreich). To add insult to injury Loonerty received no votes for a 20 possession 5 goal game in round 6 of that season. What utter crap.

No Premierships
Ignoring the fact that somehow the Qooty gods have gifted ant555 seven premiership medals, let's take a look at the following list of SFA players:
These are all dual-premiership players showing how little justice exists in the league. Especially not for the continued ridicule Loonerty experiences due to his performance against another dual premiership player in Tony Lynn 15 in the S24 grand final. You think Loonerty would at least be the equal of such league luminaries as arrowman, saintkildaman, TheMase, rickety, and Bluella. Nope. Nothing. Nada. Not a single season has gone his way. It's bullshit.

And that's why 200 games is important. It's a sign of perserverance in the face of the sim constantly flipping tails at you when all you deserved was a head. I'm sure the statistician in Loons smirks at the continued improbability. Congratulations on making it Loonerty.

Congratulations on your 200th, Loonerty. One of the most important moves made in the rebuild of the Hawks was bringing you over as you shared a like minded passion in seeing that club return to stability and then beyond. The club would not be where it is today without you. On a personal note I think you are handsome, a fine friend and one day I hope to share a team with you again.

Dear Loonerty

Congratulations on 200 inspirational games of SFA Qootball.

You are a leader of many and a Hawks great. We have had many a great tussle on and off the field.

One that really sticks in my memory though is the S24 Grand Final. The two best teams of that season who had some real dislike for each other got to face off in the big one. The game needed a hero, a leader to stand up and take that game by the scruff of the neck. Someone to say to their team mates, hop on my back lads, I have got this. Well history would show that one man achieved this and you can proudly say you were his opponent on that day.

Congratulations mate and wishing you many more games to come.

Wonderful tribute mate. Can't wait for mine when I reach this milestone. There will not be a dry eye in the house.
 
Congrats on 200 Loons, you were one of the reasons I stayed with the Hawks after my rookie season and for that I thank you, because we've come leaps and bounds since then and I wouldn't want to play for any other team.

Let's get that premiership medal hanging round your neck this season, shall we? It's about time :)
