3 weeks? Whoa, didn't think it was that bad.

At least it opens another spot up for a Saints tall. Gardiner will probably take that spot if fit, but Stanley could get the nod, with McEvoy quiet last week.

Hoping Kozi > Stanley and McEvoy > Gardiner.

Good if Hille's cleared though. The article PP posted just before said he could be facing a ban, poor SEN work or what?



Any news on Boomer at all?

Gumby was so bad I was half expecting the match review committee to come out & suspend him for a couple of weeks... at the very least a nice fine for his spudliness

Bower injured in training, missing Round 2. This is a bit worrying, especially given Jamo's troubles in the first game!

I don't usually like to believe it unless it gets a dedicated article on AFL.com.au though. This is the first I've heard about it.

"Thornton is certain to pick up Brown, given that the club's other tall defender, Paul Bower, injured a leg - believed to be an upper leg problem - at training on Saturday and will miss the Gabba game."

Tad harsh? When all is said and done, he outscored a premium defender who is worth ~420k more than him, by 12.5%

Not looking good for those who kept Gray

Defender Troy Chaplin will return from a one-match suspension, but forwards Daniel Motlop (hamstring) and Robbie Gray (back/hamstring) are likely to miss another week.
