2010 Milestones

🥰 Love BigFooty? Join now for free.

Consider that there are a maximum 26 games to be played, these are the players that mathematically can reach their next milestone.

200 Games

182 games - Ryan Houlihan
178 games - Chris Judd*
176 games - Heath Scotland

150 games

149 games - Bret Thornton

100 games

99 games - Andrew Carrazzo
98 games - Brad Fisher
97 games - Eddie Betts
94 games - Brock McLean
87 games - Andrew Walker
80 games - Marc Murphy

50 games

45 games - Paul Bower
43 games - Matthew Kreuzer
41 games - Chris Johnson
35 games - Shaun Grigg
34 games - Michael Jamison
27 games - Shaun Hampson
26 games - Dennis Armfield

* Chris Judd also needs 6 more games to play 50 for Carlton.

A few there that would be very unlikely. I doubt that anybody will make it to 200 games this year, Houlihan a slight chance. Judd is suspended for 3 rounds, we would have to make a prelim for him to make it.

Thornton will get his 150th in round one and a fantastic effort it has been from him. Almost all of the 100 game possibles will make it, with significant injury or Murphy's OP scare the only obstacles.

Bower and Kreuzer will play 50 games, Grigg an even money chance and Jamison a sure thing if he stays fit. The others won't get there.

I just hope we win all of our milestone games.

Come on Blues, win round 1 for Carrots and T-Bird, round 2 for Fish (strike that, won't be in the side unless we get injuries), round 3 for Eddie (err unless he isn't fit enough after his VFL banishment), round 5 for Emu, 6 to see what Brock is cooking, 7 for Kreuze. That will see us 5-2 or 6-1. We will take it from there.

Good thread ODN and it should be stickied for the Upcoming season so we can keep track of our players who are getting close to milestone games as this question will be asked a lot during the season i think and this thread will be commonly linked to when answering questions.

Totally agree Chism that the thread should be stickied, otherwise we will have quite a few new threads started everytime a player is about to reach a milestone.

Excellent thread ODN & it is amazing to see that Murphy is on 80 games ...... gee how time flies

Wow, a number of milestones for 2010. The club always used to pride itself on winning these big milestones games, and what better way to kick off 2010 with a win over the Tigers to celecbrate Thorntons 150th, and Carrazzo's 100th. Hasn't Murphy's 80 games come around quickly.

1 more ain't gonna hurt.

It will be great to see Carrots chalk up his 100th game. A much maligned player in the early stages of his career, he has improved his disposal & developed into one of the club's best leaders. A perfect example of what hard work can achieve for the less naturally gifted players.

I want fisher to get the 2 more games.. Last thign we want is for in 20 years a new rookie by the name of Bert Fisher who is the son of bradley fisher who is meant to be a fantastic player and not be able to pick him up on father son

Good point. Anyone know if Fish has any kids?

What about the 100 game 'kiss of death' club

99 games - Andrew Carrazzo
98 games - Brad Fisher - Injured
97 games - Eddie Betts
94 games - Brock McLean - Injured
87 games - Andrew Walker - Injured
80 games - Marc Murphy - Early injury

Actually if Walker does come back in four weeks he and Murphy will have their 100th game together. Would be a special day for the club.

Murphy is on 88 games Sin & Walker is on 92

Is the CFC website up to date with games played?

Well murph will play the next 4 games i would think

That has nothing to do with what I posted james.

Read my post as well as Sin's..

If Murphy is on 88 games, he will play his 100th in Rnd 20.

Is the CFC website up to date with games played?

Maybe I have misread Sin's post.

It will be a very special day if Walker returns in Rnd 12 & plays his 100th game with Murphy in Rnd 20.
I think that is what Sin meant.
