I had one in the 2nd round. Beat iwilldestroyoyu who was ranked 25 overall at the time but ranked in the bottom half of eliminator.

Traded out Sandilands so as to strengthen my injury ravaged midfield with Murphy.

With Watson and Rockliff (who I brought in the week after Watson was injured!!!) wasting away on my bench I felt I had to take a risk to be any chance of getting through this round against a similar ranked but more in form opponent.

Just got to scrape through this round and hopefully see the return of Watson, Rockliff and Chapman the next.......

It's bad enough that Boyd has an (by his standards) ordinary game as my Captain.

It's worse when you look to see that your Elim opponent has Buddy as (C) and Cox as (VC).

Smith!!!!!

Really improved my chances of winning this week but I still think its 51-49% likely they will win. My opponent would be kicking himself for not playing Smith ahead of Ryder. Also Prestia despite being sub scored 12 more than Lynch and Prestia is my replacement for Buddy, Lynch is his. So some much needed luck went my way there.

Their SJ is practically offset by my Lecras so will be very interesting with not that many points of differentiation left. I need Mzungu to about equal Darling and Scotland to beat Enrights 82. Going to be very very close, I know no one really cares but definitely want to do well in eliminator.

My players left are in bold. Looking at that, I actually like my chances and am thinking I have the slight advantage. I'm really surprised by that actually, thought they'd have 1 player less than me to play and be about 100 ahead but not the case.

Thinking I'm soemthing like 52-48% likely to win now but of course wouldn't be that surprised to see Murphy and Mundy both notch 130+ and Duffield back to 70ish, Mzungu 50-60ish and then they'd win.

EDIT: On averages I win by 10.

But think that my players left have a fair chance of exceeding their averages by a bit because of recent form (Duffield) or sub/injury affecting their average (Mzungu + Curnow). If Mzungu or Curnow are subs tomorrow it will probably cost me the game so fingers crossed.

Thats very unlucky, I would have expected you to have won by 75-100+ based on those matchups. Good luck. Lets hope Riewoldt, Knights + Petrie can combine for 350+, Goodes scores 50 and you can come away with the win that you deserve.

and had Selwood as Captain, so only leads by 90 but has used two more players, and I have Judd as Captain on Sunday
