2011 Noosa's AFL Punting Thread

In recognition of our once fearless leader, I have decided to run an AFL Punting Thread in his honour.

The format is simple, each person gets $100 to bet with each week (plus whatever winnings they accumulate thruout the year) on the 8 matches on offer. You can bet on ANY item to do with AFL for THAT ROUND off the TAB website (see link below). All bets must be completed at the conclusion of the round (no futures betting). All bets for the weekend must be finalized before the first game of the round begins.

I will keep a running record on GoogleDocs and post a progressive update after each round.

The winner at the end of the year, will have the most amount of money in their purse.

To post a bet, it needs to be in the following format (I'm not going to chase odds and totals up for people).

$100 in your kitty each week. Upto you to work out how you want to use it.

If after the first week for example, you win $300, then come the start of week 2, you will have $400 in your purse. Again, its upto you how you manage the $400. Bet it all or keep some for a rainy day.

There is no maximum bet. Keeps the comp open to everyone for much longer. I lost 16k one week going for glory last year

Haha - There's no pro's here mate. Just a bit of fun.
