Would be fair to guess that due to the expectations of us being in the Top 4 we will be given at least a half dozen friday night games?
Anyone heard anything about who we'll play in 2012
Do we play Richmond first up
Richmond round 1. thats all I know.
Yep.But unlikely to open the season in 2012.
RICHMOND and Carlton will retain their Round 1 match-up next season, but its status as the traditional season-opener is under threat from Greater Western Sydney.
It is understood the AFL wants to launch next season with an inaugural derby between Sydney Swans and GWS at ANZ Stadium.
I doubt there will be a dramatic decrease, honestly. Round 1 is when the most Richmond supporters always show up, as there's still hope. You guys probz won't care but ...
Do you think it not being the "opener" it will not get as much attention as it used to and not as many people will show up
60,000 comapred to 75 to 80?
And its our home game i believe
I doubt there will be a dramatic decrease, honestly. Round 1 is when the most Richmond supporters always show up, as there's still hope.
I hope it gets shared around.
my guess is we'll play dons, pies, tigers, hawks, WCE twice.
****en hope not... All top 8 teams with the exception of tigers who could make it this year...
Please AFL, give us a 2nd game against GWS so we can rest all the stars for both games...
my guess is we'll play dons, pies, tigers, hawks, WCE twice.
If you want to repeatedly play the competition easy beats, be my guest. If you want to win a premiership from being babied by the AFL, then each to their own.
Collingwood board. Not saying I want an easy fixture but if we won a premiership from being babied by the AFL I wouldn't complain.
