Not much will change wih 2 games to go, how I see the list panning out post season:

Definite delistees:

Moss
Fraser
Krakouer

Likely delistees/cheap trade bait:

Magin (I like him but cant be moved back to rookie list and limited list space)
Jolly (Could get picked up by Port?)
Flanagan (too light, hasnt developed)
Hine (Plays dirty, wayyy down depth charts)
Hutchins (Can only play lock down defender and lacks size for that role)

50/50 propositions that hold no trade value:

Iles (sound player but not rated/off contract)
Patrick (no place for him in team when fully fit)
AHall (only has 1 year contract, likely retention though)
Stanley (as above)

On the block, guys that are sought after:

Weller (may flourish elsewhere, cant play in the mids at suns)
Nicholls (huge prospect, long term afl player)
Caddy (as above, may stay yet)
Toy (Holds value for the right team)
Gorringe (Only to be used in a Tippett trade)

Horsely, McQualtar, JHall all to be retained as rookies, Coad to leave.

Your thoughts? Anyone on the outer I have missed? Who will survive the cull of the above players?

Sounds about right.

While I hate hate hate the idea of having some of those players in those sections, it's difficult to argue and find replacements.

Very fair review, only thing is I think Stanley is still in our best 22 and hasn't showed otherwise. Should be signed and extended in my opinion

Just having a better look at that list. While I don't know how long AHall is contracted for, he should definitely get another contract. He and Matera really showed a glimpse into the future against GWS. No way we'd let him go. I think the Coaches would be rapt with his efforts.

I have to disagree to an extent.

It was only his last game he performed in that win against GWS I think it was where he finally showed a defensive game.

I also think Matera is a very 1 way player still, shirks contests and plays self preservation football in 50:50 contests. Being carried by his last name still I believe. Or perhaps I'm judging him harsher because of his last name...either way.

Following Soft players that I've noticed that frustrate the crap out of me.

Hall is 1 year, I to agree he should be retained. Just had to throw him up there for the simple fact he's off contract.

Hypothetical here, say we bring in 3 draft pick players + OMeara and 2 mature players, that's not out of the question and would mean a minimum 10 players have to go. Thats a lot of players! It's why we will be active in trade week so we don't have to delist as many. Hope to see a couple like Iles/Patrick survive but it's tough...

Risky, Flannagan, Hutchins, Toy and Caddy gone at the end of the year and Fraser moving into a coaching/mentoring role!

Risch? I don't think he would be out of favour, we seem to get him on the park asap when he is fit.

Pretty much all of them I would have though would have people that would go before them. Unless the club sees something in players such as Moss that we don't? haha
