We capitulate when Smith and Slater isn't out there. We have enough good players to cover them, but it is all in our heads. We would play better if they were out there on one leg.

Enough with Quinn on the wing FFS. He is beyond rubbish there. We are missing Chambers almost as much as Slater.

Canberra played very well. Just thought I'd chuck that in.

Just watched it. Canberra certainly looked dangerous in attack; how good is Reece Robinson? And Ferguson and Williams were very good too. But they still looked at times as if they'd open up every time the opposition attacked. Melbourne's forwards were out-muscled, and Cronk had a poor game by his standards. Widdop continues to look good at full-back, but he surely butchered a try down the right in the second half whwen he went for a short pass with Duffie unmarked on the outside. Still, as I say, he was certainly one of the Storm's better players on the day.

I'm warming to the idea that England should play Widdop at 1 and Tomkins at 6. Of course Bananaman would never do anything so adventurous.

Well, yes. The thing with the Raiders is that, on their day, they can be a good attacking force, but their defence is rubbish; the stats will tell you that.

We need to finish top 2 to get potentially two home finals and a path to the GF. Lose this week to the Cowboys at home and it's over.
Manly, Broncos, Dogs all playing better than us and I wouldn't write the Tigers off either.
