Gone for all money, then 2 great tries by Hoffy and Sisa in 3 minutes, made me forget about the rest of the game. Silly errors and dropped balls (Sika Manu in particular) not good form leading to the finals.

For the fans who left early, suck it up and support your team till the siren sounds.

Bellyache is undecided about resting players for the Tigers game, me thinks its not a good idea.
You just have to look at what happened last year in the final round vs the Roosters. I'd be cracking the whip instead if I was the coach.

The team spent a few days in Qld. sunning themselves after they beat the Broncos before returning back to Melb. and bought back that lazy attitude to the game.

The fact that sides *can* win when behind by a couple of scores with a few minutes to go is one of the great things about our game. In union, if the defending side get the ball with time running out, they can just position the ball behind a ruck/maul whatever and stare at it. :p

lol, that so true about Union, its so annoying.

This year, from memory, in r/l there have been about 3 games where teams were down at least 2 tries with with few spare minutes left and came back to win games.

Will Chambers has a hamstring injury...damn, he was the missing link along with Billy Slater during our string of losses recently.

Good win by the boys considering our dreadful record at LO against the Tigers.
Honestly I gave my team no chance of beating the Tigers, thought they would fire up with a chance of playing finals and sending off Garreth Ellis in style.

Chambers injury hurts.

Would rather play Souths then Manly so now we just have to win. If we play our best we do.

Will be a good game though.

The Storm did such a good job on Benji there, who, to be fair, was a long way from his best, but boy, do the Tigers miss Robbie Farah. I said the other week that I didn't think Waqa was too bad, and he had a fine game there. But the Storm still look quite a long way from their best.

But the Storm still look quite a long way from their best.

Not quite the team they were in the first half of the year - but they are a team on the up, clearly improving from one week to the next, which is a good way to go into finals.

The Dogs, on the other hand, are clearly flagging, as are the Sharks.

The Storm wont have the Warriors standing in their way this season so you guys are every chance of picking up the title. I really don't like the Dogs on a personal level or the way they play and rightly as Azza29 points out they are flagging. Storm Manly GF.

Can't disagree. Haven't seen the Sharks and Dogs this week yet (posting here to avoid spoilers on the R26 thread!), but both have been looking jaded in recent weeks. Can anyone stop Manly? :( Of course at their best the Storm can. And they still have room for improvement.

I will be there, based on what was available last night this game will be lucky to get a crowd of 20k.

That would be piss poor. Full house would be lovely.

Cant edit above post for some reason

Reports of 5-10,000 Souths supporters travelling down, the "burrow" allocation was the 1st sold out. Should be a cracking game can't wait!

I hope so, even if they're opposition fans the more the merrier. Based on the diagram on Ticketek it looks like the "burrow" was just the usual away bay, which would be maybe 250-350 seats. I'd be surprised if it hadn't sold out.

All Category 1 tix are gone now, on track for 20-25k now I reckon.

20,000 would be an okay crowd by me, of course would love to get more to the game. The tickets are reasonably priced and so called fans should dip their hands in their pockets to cheer the team on instead of watching the game on Gem. Its a final for heavens sake!

There should be quite a few walk ups for the game and hopefully we come close to a sell out if that prediction of 5,000 travelling Rabbits turn up.

The relatively small gates in the NRL, even (especially?) for the top clubs is a big surprise to me.

Maybe (and I know youse guys complain, but, believe me, you don'y know how lucky you are) the fact that all the games are live on TV has a lot to do with it.
