Bathurst really lived up to it's billing as a truly great race yesterday. It got better as it went and I loved it all. Much as I'm a Holden fan, I felt sorry for Will Davison, his day couldn't have gone worse and that spear off at the chase would frighten anyone half to death.

How the heck did Will Davison not roll ?
James Courtney was hard done by with his tyre problem near the end because he would of finshed in the top 3.
If we had one more lap Davo would have passed Jamie for sure.

Reynolds on stacking and losing.
However a wirely old fox beat him this day. Whincup excelled at what was in his control and babied his car up the mountain in that last stint. Reynolds needed to make contact to put more pressure on. If he doesn't learn to be aggressive like that and learn when he's fighting a losing battle, he'll lose races like that again.

He would of just made because he did save a bit because he was not pushing hard when James Courtney & David Reynolds were in battle for 2nd & 3rd
