was going to do an NRL one but most rounds you would run over the max odds well before you bet on all games.
you sure about those odds - which bookie accepts a 64239.54-1 bet?

There are literally two rules to the thread in the opening post, if you don't like the rules of the thread why don't you start your own?By your statement I take it you accept that as some bookies won't accept odds over $2,500 for instance that it is reasonable to shave a leg or 2 (or 3) to actually place the bet? As in, if I get a 6-leg multi up at $2,400 I can claim to have completed an "impossible" AFL multi? Well, I will anyway, and I won't be worried.

I'm just preparing you for if it happens mate! I get where you're coming from though - this thread is not actually about placing any real bets - more the satisfaction of correctly tipping all 9 matches.
Yep because I'd be super satisfied in the knowledge I was a tipping master. I'd much prefer that over winning $2k from $1 invested.I'm just preparing you for if it happens mate! You said this in the other thread too, but I think you'll find you're completely wrong. I know I (along with nearly everyone here) will be actually placing these bets, I wouldn't be on a punting board, discussing bets with people if I didn't intend to place those bets...ac
I accept your rules - but if I get a bet up over odds of $2,000 or so - but that doesn't include every match leg because it can't - I am still going to claim to have succeeded in landing an "impossible AFL multi"! Similar to what the fellow said about Betstar.

ffs. Start your own thread. you could call it 'post whatever bets you want here'.So if the odds are too high to place the bet in any given round no one can win in that particular round because you can't actually place the bet? Seems silly.
So for future reference, Betstar caps odds at $2,001. Can people fill in the other majors so we can get a picture of where we should be going for the really impossible multis?
Odds are available douchenozzle.
Typing in capitals doesn't make your point more valid. Of course winning some money is better than winning no money, the fact remains that this is KoB's 'impossible(?) multi thread' and he layed down two rules only. You can do whatever you like, and it appears you intend to, but it means you are playing a different game to every single other person in the thread. Maybe try changing your legs so that they come in under a point where the odds are accepted.I am placing real bets - except by his own statements you can't claim to have won the "Impossible Multi" unless you tip/bet all 9 legs - except - MANY BOOKIES DON'T TAKE ODDS ABOVE A CERTAIN POINT SO YOU CAN'T POSSIBLY PLACE (AND WIN) ANY SUCH BET!
Do you accept that winning an "Impossible Multi" is more about the odds than the number of legs necessarily?
Is a 6-leg multi at 2000-1 better to win than a 9-leg multi at 100-1? Of course it is.
Sportingbet? Not where i'm placing my bet they aren't. Should I invent them?

Last I'll say on it, sorry to derail your thread KoB.
