Sat July 20, St K v Pt Adelaide at Etihad Stadium to now be played as a night game at 7.40pm local time, to maintain broadcast structure.

What?? Now they pander to Foxtel?

Our fixture is not very kid friendly.
We have one proper afternoon game in Melbourne now. I hate the twilight games. Can't eat at the restaurant unless you want to eat at 4.00PM, and I refuse to spend one hundred bucks on my family to eat the regular crap from the caterers.

Not sure why that's been changed but Sat night game at Etihad yeah!

Manchester United are playing a friendly against an all-star A-League team next door at the exact time Essendon was meant to play GWS at Skoda.

So to avoid the clash, the AFL has swapped our games, meaning your game should now be a Channel 7 game.

Fair enough, but the day games are still good ones to take the kids to.
Can't GWS just forfeit or something. ( I have issues with the AFL even recognising the existance of A League, after they tried to ride roughshod over them during the misguided World Cup bid, and on top of them trying to steal the term "football" ).

At first glance it looks a lot better than last year in terms of 6 day breaks against opposition with 7 day breaks.

I posted the following on the main board

it's an interesting exercise, I've reversed all of the 2 goals and under results.

The reversal of the Pies and Saints is interesting.

Doubly interesting if you factor in days breaks.

Saints 13 and under results, days break

Port loss 14 days
Freo loss 6 days
Richmond loss 6 days
Adelaide loss 6 days
Collingwood loss 6 days

Pies 13 and under results, days break

Essendon win 4 days
West Coast win 12 days
St Kilda win 7 days
Sydney win 7 days
West Coast win 8 days
