I'm coming around to the opinion Lennon will slide. He tested near the bottom in most categories at draft camp and unless there is a good explanation for this i could see this disappointing teams.

Unless Brisbane regardless go McCarthy Collingwood will only get 1 of there 2 favourites in Salem and Bontempelli, If they go Salem Lions go Bontempelli and Melbourne go Freeman and Collingwood Scharenberg at 10. If Collingwood go Bontempelli lions will go McCarthy(Lennon maybe), Melbourne Salem and Collingwood Schraneberg at 10.

Be far more interesting if the AFL let you trade right up until your pick. If it goes like above i hope we go Acres, Dunstan or Freeman. And if the God's are truly with us Carlton will go Lennon at 13 and he will be a dud.

Guess that's why some see the possibility of Scharenberg sliding to our pick. The whispers may be off the mark, but it seems teams have certain "types" in mind, which might see an arguably better player there for us at 12 (i.e. Scharenberg).

Yep, I think Scharenberg may be a victim of his own versatility to a degree, I'm unsure where he'll play at the next level and even less sure if he could ever transition to the midfield. Could be why some clubs are turned off. Even if he doesn't become a mid I still want us to take him. He could be an excellent swing man and immediately adds class to our flanker brigade

This is the first year that it's very hard to predict who we will take with pick 12.
There were articles last few years leading upi to the draft that gave us the idea we were into conca, Ellis and Vlastuin
This year it literally could be one of 5 or 6 players. I wish we would take any gun player that slides in the order of -scharenberg > Freeman > Lennon > Salem > Bontempelli
However knowing us we will probably go for someone like Dunstan. Is there any word (perhaps from twitter or other social media) giving any hints to who richmond might be looking at/talking to in particular? (latest)

With our VFL side and fitness team we could get him off the burgers and kicking sausages in 2 years. My gut says he will be the next big thing around the goal square.

Chances of him being available at pick 50?? (slim to none?).

Can't believe I'm suggesting Richmond should actually chase a delisted Melbourne player, but Magner might be worth a look as a rookie spot. Mature, inside midfielder, will probably do a job at the reserves, will probably be as good as Thomas, maybe better. I'm sure he'll accept a rookie spot too given he isn't assured of an AFL spot right now.

on talent maybe but way to many ifs pick 68 or rookie for mine pick 50 at best my 2c

Unlikely to go before rookie IMO

I heard he is highly rated (not first round of course but better than a rookie spot at least) but has a lot of potential. Was I misinformed? What's your thoughts on him?

If Scharenberg drifts to us, I'll have a stroke from the intense joy it would bring me! Never considered him as he really is a top 3 choice IMHO.
Lennon could sneak to us possibly but unlikely. Acres is more likely and he would be my preference with Salem.

If I had to guess I would say it's because he hasn't shows ability to play through the midfield yet. In the Champs and TAC Cup he stayed on a flank. I hope that's enough to make him slide to 12
