Maybe all 3

I swear you and gingy either forgot to read the rules or have a glitched program which allows you to select more than 30 players?

woops, I'm pretty tired today. I meant I wouldn't have any of the 3.

Also Thurlow not picked vs Pies for tomorrow, so I'm unsure whether I should pick him in my lineup.

Where are the teams?

Edit: found

Mooney, Dwyer, Frost one of them will be the rookie upgrade if any

2nd edit: yes they do have 2, one of the 3 above + Hudson

You have absolutely no idea, enjoy finishing 67k again.

I'm thinking Mooney, played 4 games last season and is dangerous in front of goal and he is super fast. The other 2 are slow off the mark & turn the ball over

Broughton vs Jarryd Blair.

Now I know our old mate Greg is more "fantasy relevant" but Blair would get more time in the guts (esp with Ball still not ready) and when he's up forward, should still score more than if Broughton gets a lockdown role down back?
Blair is a bit of a left field selection to try get a bit of POD in DT.. certainly in my radar on draft night!

I would go with Broughton, might be a bit of a yo-yo, but will surely have a better output this year in the GC side.

I got one....Mundy vs Masten vs Bennell vs Jack Steven?

Now usually I would stay away from Masten but he could very well get off to a flyer this year. No Kerr and Wellingham round 1 means more midfield time and no Rosa means more time on the wing. Their replacements will most likely be Cripps and Sheppard who will play mainly half forward. Plus, he plays a very DT friendly game now.

Rosa out for 6 weeks does make me ponder if his output will benefit from his absence or not...

He has had a killer NAB series so far though...but pretty sure he did this last year also lol.

Yeah he has almost always performed well in NAB cup matches and is the best trainer/runner at the club. His problems in the earlier parts of his career was that he kept on getting injured either round 1 or just before. That and he had to adjust to playing at half forward which didn't come to him for a while. He did however boost his average up by just under 30 points last year. My gut feeling is that he will improve his average again this year, it's just a matter of how much. If only he was listed as a forward/mid as he should be.

Masten improved significantly last year though

Rosa out helps

The only concern i have is possible tag and he didnt play last week due to a quadricep injury pulled out late

Doubt he would get tagged with Shuey, Gaff, Priddis and Selwood in the middle.

Also i am pretty sure his withdrawal from last week was just precaution, think he will play this week...guess it is something to monitor.

Hes an elite ball user though, i cant say the same for Priddis or Selwood.

Apart from Kerr, Shuey is WC's most dangerous midfielder and will take the tag more often than not. Gaff will probably attract a lighter tag at times but it will be mainly between Kerr and Shuey.

The only case I can see Masten getting tagged is if he has a huge start to the season (which is very possible as I mentioned before) but by then his price would be sky high. Just have to jump off in time.

Also, Masten tweeted that he just felt a little bit stiff in the warmup and it wasn't worth risking so he didn't play. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

Surely you aren't talking about Masten? o_O

He actually is. One of the best users of the ball at the club. His kicking is underrated because he was a shocking decision making when he was younger. It was never his kicking action or ability though.

Just looking at Mastens Fanfooty profile and reading the comments about him, quite amusing.

Good luck winning the flag if that's the case.

Yeh good post.

Ive said it before but teams dont now tag the best player necessarily they tag the player that the tag has most effect on. D.Pearce, S.Hill, Stanton (Are those players, once teams/coaches/strategist) know this they are tagged heavily. Im not sure Shuey would be most affected he spends a fair bit of time across half forward and when he goes in the middle he gets alot of inside footy and is that explosive compared to Masten who i feel if he plays onball without Shuey in there would have Crowley sitting on his hammer from the get go round 1. Masten is also a very volatile character i cant see a tag being much to his likening.
