Lachlan Hunter may well debut next week, keep an eye on him. Averaged something like 113 points in TAC Cup last year IIRC and will have good JS if he makes the team.

Both he and Hunter have been racking them up in the VFL.

Hrovat's got pretty good endurance and I don't think he'd make an effective sub. We'll see though.

I got Mitchell in a week early. Kind of risky I know, but at the same time I have a fairly solid bye structure and Viney was doing nothing on my bench, better to get another playing mid in this week (albeit a rookie) to boost my score. Other option was Nicholls a week early but meh, Mitchell's scoring > Nicholls scoring.

Same here, only two as I want to make upgrades also. Leaning towards Mitchell over Martin, not sure how much I rate Martin's JS. Maybe solid for the next 2-3 weeks but then unsure. Tommy Walsh is out all season for Sydney, would that help Mitchell.

I am actually not getting Mitchell/Martin/Hrovat or Nicholls this week.

I have 8 playing mids this week with 7 of them being premo's (Swan, Ablett, Watson, Stanton, Swallow, Danger, JPK) only one not playing is Barlow on my bench. I do not need to bring in any one of those rookies in early this week to cover. I am actually bringing in Menzel in the forwards, I know he might not make too much but he is the only forward rookie worth getting and will make me a little cash. Provided he is picked mind you.

Next week will be Martin and Nicholls (provided they are picked) with 2 downgrades and then the following week I will get Mitchell. This allows me to see an extra week out of all of them and not take the risk of not actually getting picked for their 3rd. I will grab another premo in round 13 with my other trade and then the following week will have enough cash to probably complete my side with 2 more upgrades.

Happy to pick up Hutchings/Martin/Mitchell, provided they actually play this week. Martin is the most risky due to the Monday game, so least likely to pick him this week. Already have Hrovat (he'll play nearly every week, provided he's not injured).

Would have got Hutchings last week if not for the uncertainty on the Monday lineups.

Unfortunately or fortunately I held on to Crouch so my plan for him is to make a bit of quick growth in R11 and R12 and trade him to Tom Mitchell for hopefully a $150K profit in R13 as bye round cover. Already resigned to the fact that I'm not going to get more cash out of Lonergan and that I may as well sideways Berger this week to Kruezer to save me that donut as opposed to double upgrading Berger and Priddis next week

A double downgrade should be encouraged this week considering the lack of decent options coming through in the future. The only downgrading people may be able to do over the following 3 weeks is Nicholls/Rowe to a R/F rookie ruck. Need to get the bank balance as high as possible this week
