Not a bad first up effort mate, a couple of mistakes. In summary:

Own Players bids:

Minimum bidding on own players is $134K for 1 year (121 after 10% reduction) 168 for 2 years (152), 202 for 3 (182), 235 for 4 (212), 268 for 5 (242). As a side note, the little number to the left of an uncontracted player's name (eg. 345 next to Curnow) indicates the minimum contract salary if that player is traded. It has nothing to do with bidding.

Ed Curnow @ 265,000 2 years - OK. Above the minimum.
Ben Newton @ 120,000 1 year - Not OK. Needs to be increased to at least $134K if it is one year.
Josh Simpson @ 120,000 1 year - Not OK. Same as above.
Tim Sumner @ 120,000 2 Years - Not OK. Needs to be increased to at least $168K if it is 2 years.
Sam Butler @ 190,000 1 year- OK. Above the minimum.


Rookie Promotions

Ben Griffiths @ 130,000 for 2 years - OK

Veteranise

Andrew Mackie - OK
Josh J Kennedy - OK


Retain on veteran list - can only have four on the veteran's list. Adding Mackie and Kennedy to Murphy, Enright and Crowley makes five veterans in total. Too many. All of those players already on your veteran's list are all out of contract so you can choose a total of four eligible players (Mackie, Kennedy, Murphy, Enright, Crowley)

Rob Murphy
Corey Enright
Ryan Crowley
Josh J Kennedy

Contract extensions

Contract extensions for second year players are as follows:
- 2 years, $250k
- 3 years, $400k
- 4 years, $500k
- 5 years, $650k

Jarman Impey @ 130,000 for 2 years -Not OK. If you want 2 years has to be for $250K
Luke Lowden @ 90,000 for 2 years - Not OK. Same as above.

Just need to fix up your veteran list. Can only have four of Mackie, Enright, Murphy, Kennedy and Crowley. At the moment you are saying you want to veteranise Kennedy and Mackie, which is fine, but if you do that then you can only retain as veterans two of Enright, Murphy and Crowley.

I hope that makes more sense this time?

Yup, that's the way I read the rules. You can't bid on him and he can't return to your senior list from your veteran list. Opposition teams can bid on him though and you can trade him. Might want Russian to confirm this though just in case.

Just realised that you can promote Griffiths for 2 years at $120K. Not much difference though.

You're currently paying 276k for next year, even in the unlikely event that nobody outbids that for a key defender who averages mid 70s, you're only saving 19k. The amnesty is more designed so you don't have to pay Goodes 180k next year, or Grigg 400k if you think he'll continue to not get a game under Walsh, or to get Crowley off your vets list and back onto your main list. But you can use it on Hooker if you like.

That's 5 veterans, only the first 4 count so that means Crowley must be traded or delisted
