Mainly because i'm bored and there is no sport (except Champions League but screw getting up for it) i thought i'd a hypotheticals thread in the tradition of would you prefer to sleep with. Some are stupid, some are valid.

Would you prefer a 6-7 goal, 12 mark domination by McBean at VFL level or a solid 2-3 goal, 5-6 mark game by Griffiths at AFL level?

If Hampson and Megan broke up (god forbid) which Aussie beauty would you like to see the Hammer date??

If Brooke gets pregnant and has a girl how devo would you be??

Which of Jack, Deledio and Dusty do you think we could afford to have a season ending injury too (touch wood)??

If Tyrone wins the JD medal would it change your prediction of where we finish? What about if it is Rance who wins?

Would you prefer to win the VFL premiership and scrape into AFL finals or make the Prelim and basically have our VFL team implode and finish last?

In absolute worst case scenario would you prefer/least likely to shoot yourself for a Carlton v Essendon GF, a Carlton v Collingwood GF or Essendon v Collingwood GF?

He has only been on the list one year, and shown five times as much as Griffiths. Should force is way into the line up next year.

If Tyrone wins the JD medal would it change your prediction of where we finish? What about if it is Rance who wins? We'd finish top 4 if Ty had a massive year. Rancey will win it, cos he's a star! He Finished top 6 last season! Wouldn't change my prediction.

Would you prefer to win the VFL premiership and scrape into AFL finals or make the Prelim and basically have our VFL team implode and finish last? VFL team win the premiership and scrape into the finals. It's all about the future. If we make the prelim and have no developed players to bring in, then how will we improve? And what will happen when our list is aging and our stars are past their prime? Think Stkilda, Western bulldogs, West Coast etc.

I wouldn't mind seeing Carlton v Essendon since they are equal on the most premierships, and this would decide who's better.

2-3 from Griffiths. I'd rather a solid AFL performance than a VFL one. I'm also confident that McBean will make it, whereas I'm not so sure on Griff.

One that isn't a 37 year old has been. He's still only 25, he could easily score 18-19 year olds still. Why settle down with a near 40 year old with saggy ****?

Dusty. I couldn't imagine a Richmond side without Lids in it.

I think Tyrone will finish quite high up in it anyway. If he manages to win it then he must've kicked 70+ goals. If he does that we are in flag territory.

Griffiths, he has some issues that need addressing but if he could address them and become a regular senior player I still believe that he could be the difference between us being a premiership side and an also ran.

Dusty(touch wood) much easier to replace him IMO than a key forward like Jack or a play anywhere utility like Deledio

I'd hate an Essendon v Carlton GF, 2 teams that basically cheated the system then ending up with the chance at ultimate glory would just send me clear over the edge.

I think his continued improvement for 4 years has earned him a year reprieve on a down/average year. If we make the top 4 you give him 3 years but he got 2 which is fair enough since has done neither yet.

Why can't we have both sides being successful?

I suspect we will, but i just find it an interesting conundrum between where people believe we are and how much they rate development versus actual performance. Any team could have an out of the box year like West Coast or Adelaide or even Carlton and make a prelim but if they are not going to win the big dance does it mean much compared to the development of the kids.

Good point. I should have been more specific if at the start of the year you knew that Vickery would walk home with JD what would you prediction for the season be and would it be different if Rance won.

I'm with the other posters. I want to see something from Griffiths because I have faith in McBean.

Deledio. You can't replace what Jack gives our structure, and we don't have anyone else who can turn on a 3 goal, 10 possession quarter like Dusty.

Hmmmm... I don't know. It obviously wouldn't have got the same media attention from the west and possibly the same impact but i think Russia may have still tried to blow people up.

Pass mark for mine is finals, but that being said i think there are about 9 temas for 5 remaining spots in the 8.

Griffiths easily. Mcbean will be a great player no matter what. If Griff does sumthn we will have 2 more good players.

Yes and No. If Tyrone wins it we are absolutely flying. Rance could have a solid enough season and take coaches votes with not much change to the side.

Collingwood v Carlton with a Collingwood victory. Dare I say it Collingwood are the least of all of those evils IMO.

As previously noted a Vfl premiership, sounds crazy but i'd prefer if we finished around the same as this year, won an Elimination and then a Semi and through to a prelim that way. It Would help us more more goin into the future with 2 finals wins under our belt.
