There is a tall player called Le Grice that was mentioned in the papers.
Yeah

Position: Tall defender/forward Height: 192cm Weight: 91kg Born: 7/8/95
A teammate of fellow draft prospect Max Hayes at Sandringham Dragons and Brighton Grammar, Le Grice is a 192cm key position tall who can play at either end of the ground. His athleticism is an obvious strength and, combined with his size, can dominate games if his confidence is up. His endurance base was demonstrated by an impressive 14.6 beep test at the state combine. That allows him to run opponents into the ground but, like Hayes, he needs to find a bit more of the ball at times.

Someone on the D&T thread said we approached him but were told to effoff

So how is that attitude working for him so far....? Is he determined to remain in the SANFL?

Yep if its true and thats his attitude then we wouldn't want someone like that anyway, and I doubt too many clubs would. He wasn't good enough and he was rightly delisted, credit to him he's changed his game and now might just be good enough for a second chance, if he's too petty to take that opportunity then good for him, enjoy state level footy.

Keenan Ramsey, Christian Buykx-Smith, Josh Watts, Adam Creeper, Sean McLaren, Ryan Tester

some of the KPDs that didn't get picked up this year from the U18s

I thought Tester looked good during the champs, playing as a 19 year old
him and McLaren are certainly tall enough for a big KPD role at 198cm

Hey everyone, haven't been on bigfooty since Thursday night just wondering which rookies it looks like we'll take on Wednesday and how many can we take

We have 3, unless Pearce gets picked up by someone else

been rumored to Marcon the whole year, no-body else

someone said they heard we had some interest in Hartley, both mature age players

So we have 2 spots to fill and Pearce, do you think we'll pick up Keitel, Capiron or Preuss?

3 spots to fill, excluding Pearce sorry

and I'm not sure
hopefully it is players that give us good depth and aren't more of the same

wasn't really a fan of Capiron, thought he kicked the ball backwards too often and went for the easiest possible options
good at intercepting the ball though

I thought Keitel would go in the actual draft, so I'm not sure and I'm not familiar with Preuss

Josh Watts has some nice looking highlights :p
Josh Watts to Brisbane pick 65 gone already.

Freo are short of KPs and had several opportunities to pull the trigger on local lad Keitel, but didn't.

I wonder why?
they also passed on Lever, Durdin & Goddard as well

Dalrymple said that he wasn't impressed by the key position players much this year, so he certainly wasn't lying when he made that statement

Fair enough, but the argument for Freo to take Keitel late is kind of the same, for better worse, as the argument for us to MacDonald late.

Maybe Keitel just isn't any good?

probably isn't

I don't know know how he interviewed or how he tested at the combine

Hammelmann is a little similar to Jonathon Freeman, a player that Brisbane drafted a couple of years ago
he might not be the best player to compliment their list or like you said, maybe he is just isn't any good

the rookie draft should be there to take some risks though

I'd like us to consider Wasley-Black. As a 19y.o there's some promise. Sort of a poor-mans Laverde currently without wanting to denigrate him.
