Curious from a suns opinion what will it take to pry those beautiful first rounders out of your hands?
obviously our one pick upgrade wouldn't do.

Paddy Ryder has made his desire to leave the Bombers official. Looks though like we will still have to trade to get him and the Bombers have requested a quality player and a draft pick. I'd be willing to pay overs

I'd be surprised if we're on the radar. It looks like he's requested a few clubs, none of which are us.
They were saying clubs will play hardball with the bombers.. Late first round or early 2nd..
If bombers wont take the deals clubs offer.. Paddy will use the drugs get out of contract for free card.. And then essendon get nothing!!
And so they should Essendon have tried to bend over clubs in trades time and time again ( remember they were the ones in Caddy's ear) they always want overs. I hope whoever gets him pays a late second rounder to really rub salt into the wound

he was obviously second fiddle to mumford this year, but his 2012/2013 seasons were very good.

Can we offer pick 7 + 14 for Hanneberry?
I'd go after Giles if he doesnt want too much cash, but since he's after game time he won't pick us. He's behind Nicholls and Smith when they're fit, but they rarely have been recently. Would be ahead of Gorringe and would keep Dixon up forward rather than wasted in the ruck.

Another full preseason into gorringe and we'll see his trade value go up. I agree dixon is better suited forward but he is still a better ruck option then giles.
If giles wants game time or money then no.

I don't care what anyone says. The amount of player movement that goes on at GWS is not healthy.
GWS have interviewed Paddy Ryder today. Seems weird that they are going for him since they got Mumford last year and are trading Giles.
Agree but their concessions, extra salary cap and size of their list compared to everyone else's means they'll be able to fiddle with it for a few more years yet. Their list size doesn't fall into line with the league standard 38 until 2019. they're still allowed 48 on the senior list in 2015 which is 10 more than us despite the fact we are only started one year before them - that's a huge advantage. Much easier to build a list with more players to choose from and turnover.
We offered you Hooker and a pick in the high teens, that was overs and we are very lucky you didn't accept it. I think we'd take Gorringe and pick 8 if that was offered, you also have a lot of talented onballers you could trade, not all of them are going to get a decent run.

Thats the point I've made. If and when we ever have a fully fit complement of midfielders, you're going to have 3 of them sitting in the NEAFL unless you stash them in other locations on the field. Or you can trade those chips and let them top up gaps in our own list. Or we can keep trotting out sub-par players up forward and let our engine room watch their efforts rebounded over their heads repeatedly.
You offered hooker and pears, we wanted your pick but you wouldn't cough it up as a result a trade was looking unlikely so you started a smear campaign in The media saying we were stopping a kid from being with his sick Father, we didn't cave and you didn't get to railroad us.
