Thats fine. Maybe Pinnacle, but I dont think its really necessary unless others want them or other books odds to be published. Bottom line is that it sets the foundation for the conversations for the round.

Do you manually enter the data into the spreadsheet or do you have the spreadsheet to self populate for each round?

Maybe luxbet?
Been using them abit myself lately.
Did think about them, however as they are owned by Tabcorp, I didn't want to have odds from two of the same corporation.

Still a bit early I but I reckon Melbourne against GC at the MCG might not be a bad bet at $2.9. Especially with Gaz still under a cloud and the general experience of both sides is similar.

For the exact same reasons I'd consider St Kilda over GWS. Same experience levels but one young side has to travel interstate and the home team is pretty juicy price of $3.2.

Not saying both should win at all but I think at those odds theres a bit of value.

I'd also consider a much smaller wager on Adel over North in S.A. Not because I don't rate North, I do but I think a few are under rating Adelaide this year. Value there might be a lot smaller than the other ones but a little hobby bet might make it a bit more fun.

*odds quoted are at time of writing this post. Disregard post if they start to move a bit to much.

How could anybody bet on Melbourne after they just lost to a VFL team?

Help yourself to the Gold Coast. Pretty good price if you compare the odds to no chance Melb can possibly win. I agree GC should be favorite - my argument is based on the price. Hopefully more people agree with you and nobody backs Melb and they drifter a lot closer 'no chance' type odds :)

Pies might be crap but they aren't worse than the Bulldogs. Let alone 60pts worse.

Preseason form has almost no correlation to the real stuff.

Yeah but leaving aside preseason form, Melbourne were woeful last year as well and have been woeful for as long as I can remember. Going out and losing to a VFL side while playing their strongest possible team does nothing to convince me that they will be any better this year.

Yea that's fine. I think they'll lose too but I'm willing to bet they'll win at that price. Considering Ablett might be out/at least under done and it'll be in Victoria. That's my thinking. $1.45 for a young, travelling, Gold Coast team is to short for me to consider.

No Lynch or Dixon at this stage for the Gold Coast game as well. I still think they will win and win by around 4 goals as the quality of their team is a lot better overall than Melbourne.

I think the Gold Coast will be too good. I don't mind the St Kilda one though and those odds are overs IMO.

Tough round, especially being round 1. The one thing I'm liking is Tigers to cover the line over the Blues, for some reason just feel Tigers could win big here. Lists going in 2 different directions and I think it might start to show.

That said with these 2 teams you never know and Blues could well snatch it, just a bit of a gut.

Hey is anyone gonna organise the $20 challenge this year? I've missed out previous years and would be keen to give it a crack.
