How about we give Essendon pick 2-3 for Stanton and there pick 4
They might really want Francis or Parish. Only way to be sure to get either of them would be pick 2-3

I really don't want any Essendon players involved with the drug saga.

I reckon Scott Clayton may be looking at Mitchell Hibberd from Tasmania as a possible draftee. He was named in the best 25 by Callen Twomey on the AFL website.

No inside mail "Iva Bigun" other than the number of Tasmanians he has picked in the past and their relative success.

The no go home factor is a huge plus (just ask Brisbane!!).

Additionally he is a good size who probably would develop into a mid-fielder after a few years in the AFL system.

Apparently Kieran Lovell who is also a Tasmanian is a good chance to be drafted.

Bit Risky picking up a 18/19 yr old with both them done!

If we do end up with another top 10 draft pick for Dixon then we have 3 picks in the top 20. Does change things a little since we don't have to force a pick.

One or two of those three picks will be a running mid and at least one will be a player projected to be really good down the track since Clayton does like to look to the future (like Jack Leslie and 2MP recently).

If Clayton rates Francis it will be him followed by a running mid the next.
If it is Parish at 3 then he will take a swing at 7 (assuming a deal gets done), someone like Charlie Curnow.


PS. Does it annoy anyone else that draft pick and trading rubbish like this is what keeps me interested footy wise during the week, with a break on game day?
With the regular interruption from another season ending injury, of course. Almost a weekly series.
