He should be upgraded for Libba, not much competition on the rookie list. He was kept on the list as an older experienced body to fill in the midfield for the guys we lost. He played decent in the intra and got a heap of it early on but disposal was iffy. If he gets game it will be in the midfield. Unsure if Bev will just give a chance to a kid to step up in Libbas absence or replace him with a Goodes or M.Boyd. Wait and see how he goes in rest of NAB. Darley looks a much better option at this stage.

What ever happened to Matt Fuller? Last year there was all this hype surrounding him being a nice bench selection for SC, then once the season started, I didn't hear his name once.

There was hype because he was a mature aged player drafted to a bottom 6 side. Unfortunately he is just so far from playing AFL footy, heap of guys in front of him for the same spot. Had some shoulder issues too that haven't helped.

I'm not a fan of Shaw, only because history shows he misses games, and I can't handle the heartache if he misses a couple weeks and I get a donut

Priced at $258,000 and is a Defender
He scored 80 and 60 in the first two nba games and looks better than last year
The 60 score would have been the bare minimum prob should have been higher

Higgins would play before him, can't see good enough job security for Jacobs this year. North pressing hard for senior spots, not a good year to be a fringe player for them.

I was considering the same thing. 60 definitely seemed a bit low for how well he played, but he did turn it over a few times. I like him and if his next nab cup game is at a similar standard then he'll play round 1 for sure. I just feel like there is too much of a competition for spots back there though with Wright, Jmac, Atley, Lmac and even maybe even higgins and NDS rolling through, and it would only take a bad game or two and he'd be dropped. Jmac or Clancee probably safer options

Rampe for me will step up in the absence of Malceski, Geary is having a killler pre-season and Harry should impose himself in an understrength dees backline.

Didn't get much of a chance last year, was in and out a lot. If he gets a good run he'd be worth a go

Rohan Bewick – Def/Mid – 64, 16, $344,000

New DPP status earned after Leppa used him off half back and through the middle in stopping roles in 2014. The Hanley injury is an interesting one as Bewick has the ability to run and break lines and could get that role. Throw him on the watchlist…

Jed Adcock – Def – 77.8, 22, $418,000

A handy price at 418k and probably the pick of the bunch down there for durability, scoring ability and now that Harwood has gone down for the time being might return to the heights we’re used to see him scoring at.

at the mo I have both.

Docherty came off an interupted pre-season last year, (injury & bereavment), should be better this year with some possibility of more mid time.
KK is touted as a winger. Alos had not much of a pre-season last year IIRC, and of course it was his first.

Do you expect Saad to be upgraded? (He's rookie listed isn't he?) or are you short on cash?


I have a similar structure:

Heater, $497k Newnes $437k, Docherty $412k, KK $367k, Henderson $319k, Pearce $278k
McKenzie $117km, Edwards $123k

Henderson is a bit of place holder but considering Darley instead. Hoping that at least 4 will be keepers or that a number of Def Rooks announce themselves.

Have $250k in the kitty with Burgoyne/Malceski/Smith possible upgrade targets during the year
