Everyone is mad at Mumford/Goldstein for scoring 98 and 100. Honestly pretty happy. I've had that shit of a round with Newnes, Lumumba, Ibbotson, Goodes, Cripps, Martin and Salem that I'll happily take some scores above bloody 50
The issue is that you paid for 112ppg and 107 ppg yet 100 looks like their ceiling this season.

Goldstein would have scored 120 last season for his game yesterday.

M - Griffen (Had Wines and Beams in my team heaps during pre season and put farking Griffen in last minute. Dumb me!)

Dunno why anyone would have a team that doesn't have Wines in it. Kid is a machine, stands a chance of hitting super premo status by end of year.

Wouldn't be surprised if we see a change in round 2.

A silent change, but I'll wait to see what happens before getting TBC in :

Deledio and Griffen were both poor but I have confidence they'll both come good. Not so sure about Ibbottson though.
Franklin, Montagna and Shaw all forgot the season had started until half time and then, after dusting off the cobwebs, managed about 80, 70 and 55 respectively in their second half. They should go on with it from here.

My only real vent is reserved for Champion Data. People are saying that the new scoring system has destroyed the rucks scores, but Kadog and The Oz were reporting that the ruckmen were receiving only 2 points for each HO to advantage instead of the 5 they should have received. This suggests to me that it isn't the new scoring system that's the problem, it's that Champion Data are not applying it the way they should be. It could be something as simple as a glitch in their program that's resulting in the wrong score being added each time they register a HO to advantage. Does anyone know how we can contact them to have this looked into? There don't seem to be any contact details on the SC site.
On the CD site there are a few addresses, but only for sales and jobs. There are phone numbers, if you're that keen. Or you could try someone like Al Paton on twitter?

I have a list as long as my arm of the regrets I have. However, I am going to try and hold on one more week and see how it goes. Hibberd, Martin, Newnes and Griffen were my big disappointments however.

At half time in the GWS game yesterday, I heard one of the commentators on the radio rate the players, with Mumford being his clear BOG. 12 or so H/O to Adv. You bewdy I think. Check the scores and he's on 44:(. Will assess another week of the ruck scores before doing anything, but it might not be that smart to have so much cash tied up if the scoring stays the same

If you have these rucks i wouldnt be trading them out, they'll probably end up the top scoring rucks anyway.

had rich in my team all preseason
also had rance in there too..
nicnat was my first pick which later got replaced by mummy.
montagna had a spot in my team for a majority of the preseason.
hibberd was a last minute decision that has so far back fired worse than my old VN wagon

Thinking the same thing. I started with Goldy and Maric. Trading them out and then trading them back in is a waste of 4 trades. (Not including any trades to replace injured rucks).

Also remember that Goldstein is one of the few durable ruckmen, trading him down to a Leunberger who is very injury prone is not worth the risk. Players like Leunberger you either start with or not bother with.

I find the upcoming guns hard to pick until they are more proven unless they are west coast players cos I have watched them more closely which also makes it easier because there are no west coast upcoming guns:rolleyes:

Where were you yesterday when I last minute paid 620k for Jacobs:cry::cry:

Eh, there's something to be said for his durability. Missing 1 game in the last 3 years is impressive, when almost every ruck gets managed for a game or two per year. That's why I was fine to pay for the Goldy/Minson duo - with the exception of one year Minson, those guys have been consistent 21 game players. Rather that than deal with my R2 merry-go-round of Leuy/TBC/Pyke/two or three donuts from last year.
