If the lesson learnt is just to pick 2 premo rucks in your initial squad and throw away the key then those selections are a blessing for the future.

I learnt my lesson last year and went Goldy/Maric this year.

Lewy at least had a few 90+ seasons behind him.

Sandi last year was a very good midpricer to start with. Same as Kreuzer in 2012 - was priced at under 300k & averaged 93 from 20 but 2 scores injury affected. Averaged 110+ from 18 non injury affected games. So that was a win as it was they year we had rookies Nicholls & Blicavs as our Rd3 & 4 covering for injuries with premo scores.

Sandi is always a premo ruck regardless of his price was always going to average premo scores last year, I am talking more about the speculative mid pricers people hope to break out to the 105-110 average not the cheap ones who have a history of good scoring.

There is a few exceptions to the rule of course but most cheap rucks are cheap for a reason...Lewy has been a cheap a few times now whether it is spudliness or injury related reasons is not the issue, the issue he is a big risk with not a huge upside even at his best his average would still be 10-15ppg shy of this years ruck premos.

FWIW I looked for an underpriced ruck for that was good for 105+ and I settled on Maric as the value pick from that group. So far so good.

The Kruezer/Nicholls/Blicavs year was an anomaly.....I had that combo too...those were the days.

Well done going Maric. Hindsight says he was the best R2 to pick if you were going two premo rucks

Actually yeah, maybe I could post that in the nailed it thread. Goldy and Maric from the start.

If that's as good a "nailed it" as I can muster then I'm in deep shit.

Hogan has scored more points per $ than all three and played all but one game. What's your point?
Pretty sure it's point overall and not points per $ that wins SC. Also, you used a trade on Hogan so you need to count that in the equation.

I just realised Liam Dawson went DOWN from his rookie price, haha. Great pick up.

**** the sub rule.

Trading in Yeo instead of Tmac. Cost me 63 pts and 2 cashie league wins

In your defense, Yeo has looked much better than TMac the last month.

He has but Tmac is CD love child. 90 & 125 last 2 weeks despite being beaten by opponent.

My only concern re Yeo was Selwood eating his midfield minutes. See how that pans out.

TMac was better this week then last, last week he just got demolished, this week he at least punished NRoo on the rebound a bit, and snuck forward to slot a goal.

I wouldn't worry too much about Yeo, he is going to have an off game every now and then, should settle into a more defensive heavy role pretty quickly, his confidence will be up, so should hopefully see him do what Laird is doing for Adelaide.

Rucks Minson thought he was a soild pick at 500k:rolleyes:.

Yeah not picking Swan has been an oversight from me. Also regretting going Oxley to Thurlow a while back, Oxley looks like a keeper now.

Lucky for me I let OX ride out hes last 2 100 b/e's.
I have bigger worries than him atm.
Still reget quiet a few things this year tho.

Who did you take over Swan? There were a few other players in and around that price range that have been serviceable as well.

Thurlow was always going to drop a bit when Mackie came back, because his role was going to change. Although looked good last week so maybe settling into the role along side Mackie which will be good. Has improved alot this year, so should still be good for you.

Bont over Swan. Oxley is currently a better choice than Thurlow currently, hopefully things change.

If Bont did miss a few games he would be a solid choice next to Swan, only difference really is the games missed. you cant pick that.

Ox is currently better then Thurlow this last month, but I think Thurlow will be better for the long term, like I said, he was always going to drop when his role shifted, but once he finds his feet he will pick back up again.

I'm lucky in that I got Swan when Bartel went down.

Anyway since I'm here
Oxley>Lever
Tarrant > Mumford (Ryder Fwd)

Combined with
Bellchambers>Ryder
Gregson> Glenn(Gregson since gone up 100k )

The only real regret I have for 2015 so far is starting with Griffen at M4 in Rd1. Massive fail. I'd be ranked top 200 instead of top 2k had I chosen just about anyone else for that role. :rainbow:

Imagine if we both went Jack Steven/Lachie Neale instead of that oath.
