All good mate. But be honest here, you didn't even consider Swan for VC. Hindsight is a great thing since 90% of the people here have Swanny in our teams yet only 1% actually put the VC on him.

I here ya. Getting it right is luck of the draw. Without GAJ it has made life abit more difficult,even with the VC loophole. We were blessed to have the ability to whack the C(or VC) on gazza every weekend and watch the 130+ scores roll in.

Atleast now it makes the game more interesting!

So true, so far this year my C has scored 115, 126 & 107. Last year it was 140, 121 & 182 (GAJ)

Come on guys, we all new this would be hard this year.

Everyone got sucked into Fyfe and his new perma captain tag after one good game, myself included. Not taking anything away from him, but it serves us all right for proclaiming a new SC God when the old one hasn;t actually finished yet.

Only perma captain so far this year has been Sloane, and I bet no one has used him.

Regretting trading in Dickson for a quick cash grab. Gained some good dollars, and his BE is low, but he's a solid 60 pointer, so I either need to cop it or play Lonie again to get his price jump from the bench

Don't think Gingy or myself were complaining about the C/VC this year. Simply just highlighting the fact that without GAJ it makes it more interesting instead of just slapping it on Gazza every weekend. Personally I like it

Sloanedog has been my captain (or VC to start) all 3 games so far. Although nearly put the C on Selwood yesterday. I reckon a few others would have C'd the Sloanebeast too.

Agreed with these, particularly Newnes. I spent all preseason warning people away and secretly laughing when people picked him. Switched Docherty to Newnes a week out from the season starting. Jokes on me.

GAJ; had to start with him for mine. Easy enough to downgrade him when shit hit the fan, but had he come out scoring three weeks of 160+, there would have been no way of you getting him in to your side. No regrets there.
Bartel; how could you predict being knocked out with 3 seconds to go in the game and then a knee injury. He's probably only missed 10 games for his entire career, and most of those would be been part of Thommo's rest policy. No regrets there either.

Yeah that's just me being harsh on my players as usual Jiska.

Sucks if you started with Malceski he looked a bit overpriced to begin with, just had a bumper year last year however will be $430k in 3 or so weeks. Enticing. I'd be surprised if he still isn't a Top 6 defender from here on in. I'm keeping a very close eye on him as 1st defender upgrade along with Hibberd who will also be around that mark.

Actually he could go biggish (well, for him anyway) this weekend. With Cheney out for the Crows it does cause some defensive matchup problems for the them. The problem is will he get enough quality delivery to make use of it.
