Has any club received a PP since the changing of the rules?

If Port didn't get one the year they sacked Primus then nobody is getting one until they go through a season without a win.
We are hardly in a position where we are guaranteed to win another game this year. Our wins this year have been average at best (barely beat the Dees, and beat two injury ravaged and down teams in GC and Lions) while the Dogs game is a freak occurrence. And we got flogged by Carlton.
As for the priority pick: We'd have a good a claim as anyone in recent years and the AFL has signaled that it isn't dead.
Either way there is more chance of those two things happening than you playing AFL footy.
And you didn't need them after 'will' and 'not'. The one at the end is sufficient.

I guarantee we will snag one more win at a minimum. Besides that the entire AFL can see we have made big improvements this year.
It could be argued that a good portion of our improvement has come from our substantially better injury situation.
This would probably work to increase the chances of us getting a PP because it means our W:L is based on a fairly strong 22 every week. If we can only win 5 games for the year with such a strong team then what does that say about how good we are?

It says we are a bottom 5 team on the way up with good management. We wont be getting any gifts.
If we get one then should every team below us get one?
Melbourne - Need another top player to help change the culture.
Brisbane and GC - Injuries show they have no depth. Need a PP to balance this.
Carlton - Wooden spooners. Judd forced to retire so obviously need a PP to replace him...
The club said we would have 3 years of it... Unless they've changed their minds...
Senior listed players. We will win another two games at least IMO.Just to be clear - when they say a club has to make at least THREE changes to their list: does that include the Rookie list, or does it have to be three from their MAIN list?
We're not going to get a priority pick though. We have shown everyone that we're not a shithole and we're doing the rebuild well. There is no chance they'll give us one.Re us not needing a PP
Teams currently dominating or teams that have dominated:
Freo, built on an elite system, well done to them. But they haven't won a flag.
Hawthorn had priority picks
Sydney have 9.8% more cap space
Geelong got the greatest player I've ever seen basically for free, along with a franchise key forward basically for free, as father/sons.
Collingwood had access to priority picks along with a franchise key forward as a father-son.
West Coast picked up some bloke called Chris Judd as a priority pick and are still reaping the benefits of that (see JJK)
Brisbane had a larger cap.
Port had start-up concessions.
Look into the future
GWS have had the most draft concessions of any team ever and have a larger cap
Collingwood are still benefitting from both Cloke as a Father-Son and priority selection Daisy Thomas (whose selection ultimately though indirectly landed them Scharenburg), will benefit from Darcy Moore (who was a jet in u18s).
The Bulldogs best player was drafted as a Father-Son.
That's every flag team since 2000 that's had considerable concessions that we won't have access to in this rebuild if we don't get a priority pick. I think we need a PP. Especially we want to build a real contender and not be stuck at the bottom for a long time, without pulling some unreal draft picks out of the bag, which is possible but much, much harder.

We have shown them that there is plenty of hope, we're not playing like Carlton and Melbourne. We have a plan, and its being put into practice. And yes, that is a major part of the criteria for a PP. Playing poorly on field, relates to our win-loss percentage, so not sure what you're trying to say there. And also, we have had a fair few high draft picks recently (6 top 21 picks in last 2 years is a fair few)Not begin a shit club (even if we are still one of the worst financially and on field performers) and being able to orchestrate a rebuild are not exactly a major part of the criteria for a PP though.
Our Win:Loss and % over the last 3 years plus our relative lack of high draft picks are much larger factors in deciding if we get one.
More than happy to be wrong, but IMO we will not get a PP.Re us not needing a PP

Frankly I'm done talking about it.
Maybe i have this wrong but isn't O'meara seriously injured, like maybe never the same again injured?
