(Ie pick 13) However, this process will tell the world exactly the quality of the bombers people and club -- 1/JC nominates us, 2/we work at seeking an appropriate trade, 3/bombers push for pick 5 as is their right,4/ they don't wait for us to sort an appropriate trade (something other than pick 5, cos let's face it the entire world knows that's overs) over the remaining weeks and offload him in the meantime ---then it will be a low move and not reflective of a healthy culture and we are better off without dealing with those types of people.

Well I don't think the club will do that. Matter of fact I'm certain. Like nearly every year I think the PSD will be for unknowns and will hardly be used. And if we offer outlandish money to Carlisle I will be pissed off.

So a professional club like Hawthorn comes up with a big offer for someone like Carlisle ONLY because we couldn't satisfy Essendon in the first few days of Trade Week(ish)?

We were never going to jump in with pick 5 and IMO, if the Hawks are really pouncing they were always going to pounce before any deal was signed off.

People will be disappointed naturally if we miss out on him. However after Carlisle himself saying that he wants to come to us and play in 2016 essendon cant do shit unless he does a backflip on his word. I can understand were essendon are coming from wanting to do the best deal for themselves and not give a shit were he ends up. But its up to Carlisle now himself to say nope im going to the saints with the pick they offer you or ill go into the psd and they will put a massive offer that no-one will touch.
