Personally I like the Tigers at $1.22. They were near unbeatable in the last 3/4 of the season (apart from finals cough cough) and should be primed from the start. Have beaten Carlton easily the last two years. I expect Carlton to field a younger side than last year with Yarran, Henderson and Bell gone.

Probably will look at Richmond for the win then perhaps +12 and +24.

The Freo / Dogs game becomes more interesting with Sandilands out.

Geelong is great value at $2.25, drafted well in the off season. No Ruffy. Retirements of Lake and Hale deffenitly overs.

Port -26.5 and GWS -8.5 both appealing.

I like Collingwood the most. They could be without Elliott and Howe though, however im not sure Howe is locked best 22 just yet for them.

Id be waiting to see if J.Selwood plays round 1.

North never win round 1 but also rarely lose at etihad to teams travelling there.

But yeh i also quite like Melbourne at home, pitty its round 1 i always feel travelling is easier in round 1 because they have 2 weeks to prepare for it.

I think Melbourne will be better than last year though. Viney, Gawn, Tyson,Salem, Hogan, T.Macdonald should all be considerably better than last year. Add Kent as a small forward to compliment Garlett aswell.
