After the events of a few weeks ago I find it hilarious that Kyrgios' debut inside the top 20 knocks Tomic out.
Going to be tough for him to get back over the top of him now, provided Nick doesn't implode. The clay season is essentially a write off for Tomic, he doesn't give enough of a shit about the smaller tournaments and he doesn't really have the capacity to go deep at the slams that Nick does.Kyrigos is showing us he is the better player, he just has more weapons and moves better. Tomic needs to be more aggressive

Of late though he's been pretty inconsistent at them owing largely to his tendency to drop his head and not really compete - Sydney, Ecuador, Delray Beach...That which I bolded I find surprising because it's his consistency at the smaller tournaments that has gotten his ranking where it is. Anyway, the latest on Bernie is his wheels.

The Kyrgios v Nishikori match will be at 10am tomorrow - a nice use friendly time![]()

Even after winning his first QF of a Masters, Triple M bagged him for hitting a ball away in the match (same as every other player does) and the closest he got to praise was Eddie saying he's still gotta win 2 more matches. The day before, when they reported Kyrgios would be playing in the QF against a Russian, the match had already finished two hours earlier. They're a bit slow at Triple M, but quick to report a trivial indiscretionLet's see if the Australian media will celebrate his win or pick on his behaviour.
The media are always critical of Nick but he must be doing something right by making the semis at a top event.
I hope we get to see a Novak v Nick final
