YesGenuine question, has the normalisation of white clash jumpers due to the AFL's rules over the past decade essentially brainwashed people to vote for a white jumper (non-club colour)? Despite their being plausible options in club colours?

Maybe a little but I think the white one actually looks pretty good. It's easier to have a white clash than two (a yellow and a red).Genuine question, has the normalisation of white clash jumpers due to the AFL's rules over the past decade essentially brainwashed people to vote for a white jumper (non-club colour)? I'm not sure we're ready to have another red guernsey. Our last one actually looked decent, but our performances in it got it a reputation for being cursed. Why no red option?
Did anyone else notice Port wore their home guernsey against the dogs?
Both teams had white numbers on dark guernseys.
Both had a bit of white on the front
I thought they'd changed their black guernsey to have a white back with black number ..? Surely this would have been more appropriate
Maybe that's why port burnt the Ball so much
Not as quick as I got sick of white guernseys.I reckon we (and the players) would get sick of that yellow pretty quick.
Why no red option?
So no red because of superstition. I see.I'm not sure we're ready to have another red guernsey. Our last one actually looked decent, but our performances in it got it a reputation for being cursed.

Yeah, I suspected that. CrazyNot certain, but I've heard the AFL considers red a "dark" colour and therefore, doesn't avoid clashes.
That's pretty funny. It was just referred to around these parts as the 'Guernsey of Death'.
Not so much superstition, more just a reminder of so many horrible memories. So no red because of superstition. I see.
That's pretty funny.
To this non-fan, I seem to associate red as a Crows colour moreso than yellow.
I'm following the progress of this very keenly, given my own club's extreme slowness in providing any news whatsoever. Our poll was held in September last year and STILL no updates! Can we borrow your new CEO for a while, please?
Yep, we had a poll to 'return the wings' (and kill the tri-panel) in 2016. There was the hint that the yellow strip from the late 80s could also become our clash.Nope, we kinda like him.
So did you guys have a fan poll like this with options provided as well? Very odd that almost a year later and there has been no updates.
What the hell is Tredrea wearing? When did light blue and white stripes have anything to do with Port?
It was one of a few jumpers they wore for their first 32 years before they stole Collingwood's idea of black and white stripes. What the hell is Tredrea wearing? When did light blue and white stripes have anything to do with Port?
Is this true?It was one of a few jumpers they wore for their first 32 years before they stole Collingwood's idea of black and white stripes.
Is this true?
I thought they were est 1370
Surely they weren't magpies while they were baby blue and white...?
