What about the change rooms at Ivanhoe AFC that had glory holes in the toilets back in the late 80's? Never did see anyone use those dunnies........

Ajax rooms pre-GP upgrades at Albert Park (1994). Cold "popcorn" textured mustard concrete. Trickle showers. Blocked plumbing in single bog. Thought I was half a chance of getting molested.
You were, with Peter Couchman running rampant around there

Seriously?

Old Xavs/Praharan would still rank amongst the worst I have experienced. Elsternwick park are also stinkers in more ways than one. west Brunswick's old away rooms 2K from the ground with cold showers and drug paraphernalia were always special. st Leo's Emmaus away rooms and Haileybury(old ground) also deserve special mention.

There was a ground near the Zoo that hosted NOB's unders games I think many years ago that they used during the week for "feeding chooks" and when the away team arrived on Saturday there was cleaning up to be done prior to utilising the rooms to say the least...

Very serious. May be a little mayo, but very little.

Beyond belief. Have been at Etihad last year when I made my debut in an AFL 7's game infront of a crown of 35,000. The rooms there are very tired.

Lashings upon lashings of mayo I'd have thought.:)

The 'Gs' rooms are splendiferous - so good a word that hasn't made it to a lexicon yet.

Then there's individual clubs training facilities. Those at Westpac Centre. The Ricoh Centre. Aegis Park - for example.

Come on AM, the G's rooms could be rat infested dungeons, and they'd still be splendiferous simply because they are at the G.

Having said that, the umpires rooms are nicely appointed and the showers deliver plenty of hot water, and it is not a long walk to the hallowed turf.

The facilities for players at the 'G' are terrific OTP.

Then there are newer venues like Metricon which I believe is something else. That said, the new facilities at the University must be great. If it wasn't for the paucity of parking I might be tempted to have a gander.

Now back to D1. Where's the tipping ladder bedford?

The tipping may become superfluous soon as Ormond look far too strong and possibly will be crowned the champion team in 2015 - undefeated..

Look what happened to Therry last year. There is no such thing as a sure thing and finals are a whole different ball game.

West Brunswick Reserves & Hawthorn Seniors in D4 last year. Both in line for Champion team Status, both fell at the final hurdle.

North Brunswick "communal" showers after a game made for some uncomfortable moments after having the suitcases beaten out of you for two hours.

Well lets see will we? Ormond are the black caviar of D1.I guarantee with the blokes at Ormond that have been around a while that they will not be falling at any last hurdle, they will merely see that as a flyover. Finals are only a different ball game when you have blokes in your team that get spooked, the cream will always rise to the top. Keleher, Martinov, Upstill Chisholm and Oaten will not let any nerves interfere.

And that's why I will be supporting anyone but Ormond!

Kew were ok in the 70's but not anymore, wasn't there a tribunal regular called Haralambopoulos that the field ump ( 1 in those days)used to ask the Goal umpires to keep an eye on ?? Ormond will get back to where they belong, Richie is on the right path...

Write off Kew at your peril
I agree BB, round 10 I think we will get an idea. What a silly fixture, with Ormond playing Friars twice in 9 rounds and not playing Kew till R10. Also don't play home for a month. .What is wrong with 1 home, 1 away, surely its not that hard

I think perspective and gatorboy are one and the same: dual personality social media. One pumping up the Ormond tyres, one letting them down.

I seriously don't mind ormond. Just don't like individuals who get ahead of themselves.
