Tim Taranto (Sandringham) is one to keep an eye on.

186cm midfielder who has a really big tank (15.09 beep) and has the ability to hit the scoreboard and finds a lot of the footy.

Also his team mate Oliver Florent is another to keep an eye on in the champs, he is a smooth mover.

He plays like a KPF, leads well, marks, kicks long.... As a CHF that would fit us well. 194cm I have seen mentioned.
Some like Goddard but there are 3 decent rucks this year and Meek (good round the ground ruck) is a nice list fit.

I'm taking my measurements from the TAC Cup lists. He's listed at 192cm.

Depends on how the champs go. Goddard is on top at the moment but I'm looking to see if Sweet can continue to progress as he has in recent months and if Lloyd Meek can have a good champs as a Ruck/Forward he'll move up the rankings quickly.

I have 4 rucks in my top 50 imo so there's plenty of them to discuss.

When did Dahlhaus become our recruiter? :O

I still believe that our recruitment team have the biggest balls as far as going for players that other recruiters think are the more speculative picks

Dalrymple likes players who can find lots of their own footy and or have played state league footy. Just a few off the top of my head:

Daniel - Played SANFL
McLean - Constant 30 touches at TAC level
Williams - 56 disposals in a game of SANFL 18's
Bont - Marcellin game (10 goals and 50 touches from memory?)
Macrae - always found a lot of the footy
Dunkley - Always found plenty of the ball

All of these are looking quite good picks too

I wouldn't be against grabbing a couple talls in the draft if we didn't rate any midfielders
Still think we could use some more class in the midfield & have said that for a while now

That is why we got Collins...

Prefer Rucks and CHFs this year for us.

We need to find a few natural forwards (Not just KP ones) so our forward line isn't too one dimensional.

Elite endurance and ball winning is a good combination, if he has nice skills too he would have to be on the radar.

On Sweet, he fascinates me. He is very tall at 206cm, seems to find a bit of the footy so must have an alright engine for a big guy already. Listed at 105kg so is also quite heavy already. Having seen him playing for the AIS his kicking looked shot, just seemed to kick it straight up into the air. How do you rate him? Do you see similar kicking issues to me? Does he mark the ball well? Only interested because I would love a super tall ruckman that can mark the ball in the Gawn mould but they are very tough to find.
