Is he a good kick?
Weird comparison but Galluci (at his best) reminds me of Jason Akermanis ..

Yeah he is, big possession winner and a 15 beep too.

KM did a small write up in his power rankings.

21. Tim Taranto (VIC)

Best position: Inside midfield
Height, weight: 186cm, 82kg
Recruited from: Sandringham Dragons
Plays like: Jarrad McVeigh
Projected draft range: second to third round
Profile: Taranto is a midfielder who can win first possession but also does damage by foot and has good evasiveness. He offers good versatility with his ability to push forward and hit the scoreboard and push back and take an intercept mark as required.

Would you be interested in seeing a consensus top 20 based on the 9 power rankings I've been able to find? I tend to collect them.

I go around looking around at other people's rankings a fair bit. However I come up with my own concensus regarding players, my gut feels in the top 50 or so are usually quite good so I like using it.

I'm fiddling around with a top 50 phantom at the moment which should be completed around the end of the champs.

Oh yeah, I didn't mean did you want it to help with yours or anything, more just as a curiosity.

I'm not sure
But they're opening for werribee vs williamstown development team
& then I might stay for the senior game to.

If School Footy has this week off and everybody is playing

Western Jets

Brodie Romensky (defender/big bodied mid)
Harrison Bult (Key Defender)
Daniel Venables (Classy Mid/Forward)
Judah Dundon (Midfielder)
Oscar Junker (3rd tall defender)

Falcons

Brett Blair (overage forward)
Zach Zdybel (3rd tall)
Jack Henry (3rd tall forward)
Sean Darcy (Tap Ruckman)

If they don't a lot of those kids won't be playing.

I'll see if I can find a team list tonight to see who is and isn't playing if you want?

Early feel is that we could end up with some really good class early in the draft and maybe a developing tall or two (Ruck/Key forward/3rd tall fwd) later in the draft.
Given Goetz was picked up as a developing ruck, do you think they'll still go with another ruck? Reckon Goetz could turn into a Tippett type forward/ruck.

Goetz is so far off the pace, would like another developing ruck on the list but a more proven one with still plenty of room left to expand their game.

He's 18. Of course he is. Thats why he's on the rookie list. Most rucks don't even start showing signs until 22 or so. He has showed signs up forward, he'll be hitting his straps as we're in the middle of our window.

I'd still like another developing ruck who is a bit more of a known quantity. Goetz doesn't kick on and then what? We have a weak enough ruck division as it is and Will is almost done. I think we need another developing ruck on the list and this year is a good opportunity to take one.

Yeah. I wouldn't mind a young ruck somewhere in the next couple of years. But I'd prefer a mature ruck that could play right away, especially if Minson retires/gets traded .
Rucks with high endurance are probably going to be the way to go if the AFL keeps reducing the rotations
