At 26 I say take him. Berry's a good choice also.

Ripped off!

One of my fellow mock drafters pinched him at Pick 25 for bloody Carlton.:mad:

Thought I did the best I could by taking Ridley for you at 26.

Hey, I'm no master drafter or expert in the field so if you wiser heads had a better idea ...stiff shit!!!

Now, I've got to come up next with something for you guys at Pick 50 so help me out here.

Someone tell me about Cumming. All I know is he's from Broken Hill.

Too tired to write much myself so this is from Emma Quayle's combine harvester.

Isaac Cumming (Broken Hill/GWS Giants Academy)

Born: 11.8.1998

Height: 183cm

Weight: 72kg

AFL bio: Medium defender with good closing speed and ball-winning ability. Represented NSW/ACT and the Allies in the NAB AFL under-18 championships, using the ball effectively by hand and foot. Also played under-18s at North Adelaide this year and represented the GWS Giants in the NEAFL.

"Isaac is a great young man who did as much travel as anyone in our program this year being based out of Broken Hill. He's really come on in the last 12-18 months. He's a really versatile type and maybe suffered a bit this year because of that. We played him forward, back and mid. In a perfect world we would have left him in one spot, but that versatility should add to his draftability. He was tiny when we first saw him as a 13-year-old so he's grown quite a bit. He's athletic, clean and generally a good user of the footy."

Darren Denneman, AFL NSW

Anyone seen Oliver Hanrahan play? I've heard from a few sources he quit TAC cup for cricket commitments at st Kevin's college and Melbounre cricket club premier cricket so he's clearly a gun cricketer. Seems like he could be similar to Easton woods situation when he got drafted. What's his ability like with football?

His profile is not unlike Easton Wood's by the look of it. Great athletic ability and ability to keep his feet. Strong overhead. He went at 100% kicking efficiency in the young guns game and mentions good decision maker.

Not directly Dogs related but Berry met with Crows again this week. Would be surprised if Crows don't swoop with 13 if he is still on the board. Also if i heard correctly, Tom Williamson has talked to Essendon and Port that i know of but he mentioned six clubs had expressed interest shortly after combine.

So I was having a look at this:
http://www.afl.com.au/news/2016-11-19/indicative-2016-afl-draft-order
and wondering, for the purpose of academy/father-son points, do picks move up to fill gaps?

For example that table has GWS not using pick 60, so they end up calling St Kilda's pick 61 the new pick 60. But do St Kilda get the points associated with 60 or 61? Is St Kilda's pick a true pick 60 or will 60 go down as PASS for GWS and St Kilda use 61?

Need more innuendo in our side with Adcock retiring. Draft either Brennan Cox or Cedric Cox and you could have the half back line with the most innuendo in it in Australia.
Works best with Brennan Cox at CHB.

Wood Cox Cumming

People's thoughts on a Murray double to kick off the draft:

18: Todd Marshall
26: Zach Sproule

Use Marshall as a general forward, roaming around inside 50 with Boyd. Sproule as that CHF, high half forward, running up the wings. Both are athletic enough and versatile that there positions are interchangeable. They would be a very hard trio to combat.

I'd be pumped

Same.. it just came to me and now I'm all for it. However there hasn't been any talk that we are interested in Sproule. I've liked what I've seen though. Especially since he could even be played in the backline. Great running ability.

Yeah I reckon he's a true swingman. Could be very handy.

Marshall I'm getting excited about after hearing Dal's into him.
