You can't have Cotchin Dusty Prestia and Caddy in the middle at the same time, what you can have is 2 of them in there rotating with the other 2 so that we have our best ball winners always on the ball. This is why our drafting becomes important. Get another 1-2 genuine inside midfielders who can play there from day 1 and we can then have 3 genuine ball winners always around the ball at stoppages and can then feed it out to the outside types like the Ellis' Menadue McIntosh Markov Houli Yarran & Short. That happens and I'm confident that we'll see a much better style of footy being played by us.
agree with this ploy, it's basically what the Dogs had at thier disposal this year. also looking at our list atm we could be forced to have Dusty & Caddy maybe as well starting up fwd & rotating through the middle instead of playing a 3rd tall which IMO is a good thing.

That's funny, I remember you being bullish about our Nathan Gordon selection and a champion of Dayle Garlett? Don't knock fans having a bit of fun with a phantom when you're clearly in dark like the majority of us when us comes down to actually watching these kids play.
LOL i think you may have misinterpreted the post

Where did i knock fans ?

You clearly have not read the entire trail properly

apparently linked to geelong vfl player tom stewart

Tom Stewart
Geelong
190cm/90kg
15/3/93

Was mentored by Matthew Scarlett at South Barwon in the Geelong Football League and has stepped up in his own right at the next level. The defender is strong in one-on-one contests, he's quick off the mark and generally reads the flight of the ball better than his opponent. Likes to take the game and is a good user of the ball, particularly by foot.

He better shave those sideburns first. Dimma runs a tight ship at PRO.

Harry Morrison is an interesting player Bishop Missed a lot of footy due to injury but is an elite kick and a playmaker (from what I've read). Testing well at the combine would have brought him back into the front of clubs minds. Do you think he'd be a good option for our pick 50+?

I'd take him if he was there in our pick in the 50s- But I'm expecting him to be gone by then. Very composed with the footy in the back half, kicking is very good across half back and rebounds it very well. A touch slow- but I'm expecting a late 2nd round pick for him at this stage.

I mentioned him a while ago but I really think Ben Long will develop into a great player. We aren't screaming out for players of his ilk so likely won't go with our first pick but I'd love us to snatch him with our second. Reckon he'll be there Bishop ?

Probably. But I'm not a fan. I rate him as a late pick/rookie. But I think a club in the 50s probably is where he goes.

Inside Footballs Predicted Draft Range:
Josh Begley - 25-45
Darcy Cameron - late/rookie for THE_GUN
Dylan Clarke - 25-45
Brennan Cox - 20-35
Cedric Cox - 15-35
Willem Drew - 20-35
Jack Graham - 20-40
Kayle Kirby - 40+
Myles Poholke - 24-50
Sam Powell-Pepper - 12-25
Esava Ratugolea - 40+
Jordan Ridley - 20-40
Jonty Scharenberg - 35-60

A fair bunch to choose from and would address my, and hopefully the clubs, desire to stock up on midfielders.

How good would it be if we could snag
#27 - Willem Dew
#55 - Jordan Ridley/Josh Begley
#82 - Myles Poholke

Rookies
Darcy Cameron
Kayle Kirby

Not sure about that.

I'd be taking Ridley & Begley at 27 & none of those three will be there at 55. Myles Poholke may be- but definitely not at 82! Kirby a third rounder come draft night.

Bishop With regards to our re-signings do you think we will look at KPP's with our picks now?

Best available early. Rotham/Ridley/Begley the names that will be there at 27 & I'd be very surprised if it isn't one of them.

55 could be an inside midfielder such as Scharenberg, Atley, maybe Poholke.

Last pick could be anything.

I would love to see:

Pick 27: Sproule/Mutch
Pick 56: Morrish/Henry
Pick 83: Williamson/Liam Ryan.

I'm also a big fan of Bayok from WA too, I believe he could be a great rookie pick
