Have not read whole thread, Where has Jack Billings played in Nab and thoughts on putting him in side

I had him in my team for almost all of the pre season as a POD but have recently taken him out for Hall who i think is the safer option. Billings has the makings of a gun but i think he will play a little bit too much time forward. It wouldn't surprise me if he had a real huge breakout season but at that price i want more certainty in relation to roll and scoring potential. Good luck if you pick him, not for me this time.

Thoughts on Lincoln McCarthy from geelong? Is he likely to get any early games, is he a chance for round 1?

Round 1 last year he smashed out a massive 50 after everyone was talking him up in the preseason (I know he was a fine pick after that). I'm really wondering about his mindset with his dads situation. He's been in my team for a while but I'm thinking of him as an upgrade target now.

Hard to say. I would think IF we elevate him then he'd be given a decent chance and could take the spot Thurlow has left open.

Back 6 are pretty much Mackie, Lonergan, Enright, Taylor, Henderson, Thurlow.
That one spot could be Ruggles, but he has Bews also competing for that spot, and some have mentioned Cowan playing there too.
There's also a possibility Guthrie could play off half back, taking that spot... but with an ageing backline, i'd like to think Ruggles would get some games so that he has some experience come 2017 (when i expect a couple of our older backline to retire).

Unlike McCarthy, who off the top of my head only has Gregson playing a similar role... however as NAB games has shown, both can play in the same team no worries.

After that last NAB game, I swapped him out for Deledio. Doesn't feel quite right not having him there as he's been in my side every game for years now. I think I'd like to see how he settles down and I don't think I'll be losing out by having Lids as an alternative

Averaged around 115 without him last year.

However, isn't it true that Robinson is a second string midfielder at your club, and at times will be used to tag opposition players like Shuey in round 1?(I got this from the Brisbane board) If that's the case, do you still see him having premium output? I believe the 115 average in the later stages of 2015 was him playing purely as a midfielder instead of tagging at all.

He did tag early on in the season (did fyfe quite well) when we had our full midfield so be wary of that but when he was moved into the midfield permanently he became a bull for us. He played two nab games both a full on inside midfielder and even pushed hanley to the half forward line. Robbos average will be around 100 i would say.
