I didnt expect Goffin to beat Cilic, that's a great win for him.

Under rated player Goffin. Did pretty well in the Aus Open watched him live play a really good match and beat Thiem at the Aus Open before eventually losing to Fed - barely got a mention though by the dickhead commentators as they whacked their pin dicks red raw over Federer.

Thats because he got absolutely dismantled by Federer.

He got plenty of praise in previous games

The one stat that worries me with Goffin is his record against the top 10. Until he beat Wawrinka, his record against top 10 players was one win for 25 losses. Recently he has been a lot more competitive against the bigger names but he needs to start winning more regularly against them. It could be a mental thing as well. He had Wawrinka on the ropes in their match until letting him back in with a massive choke but has twice put Cilic away with relative ease in the past couple of weeks.

I see Goffin as being in the Tomic range; a good player that will trouble most on his best days but struggles with the absolute upper echelon of players (obviously more mental application though). He's not young anymore; he needs to be starting to get some top 10 wins under his belt if he is ever going to be capable of doing so. This semi is a good start.

Federer could be bukkaked by Wayne Arthurs - it still wouldn't stop the circle jerking

yeah yeah yeah, we get it, move on.

Kei Nishikori should beat Nadal right?

Rybarikova was lucky to make it to the quarters. Vinci retired in the previous round, and Rybarikova hit the ball too slow for Bencic to generate any pace against her in the match before that. that is her words, not mine.

Nishikori is favourite. Nadal paying over $2! I've loaded up...

interesting. i loaded up on Kei. easily won the last contest between the 2, and should have won the match before. i looked good with Kei up 3-1 and 2 BP chances, but since then, has been all Nadal. 4-4 now.

Kei lost the break, nearly lost 2, got it back on serve in the 2nd and then lost it again. just a strutting performance from Kei. was my worry, as it is not his best surface. but i thought Nadals form was worse. Nadal played some good tennis but Kei just lost his head. all well, win some, lose some.

what might have been if Kei put away the somewhat easy passing shot to make it 4-1 in the first. He will never be a top top player till he sorts out his mental strength. Nadal did the same thing in the 2nd, but managed to regain his composure.

With all due respect that was pretty dumb dude

U win some, u lose some. my reasons were solid. i had some doubts like every bet u do. in this case, my doubts were correct and the court was too much in Nadal Favor. i would make the same bet again if it was on a faster hard court.

Kei played like he did v Isner.IW is not his best surface

Serena had to work to beat Aga. won in the end, but Aga had the break at 6-5 in the 2nd set. Aga played really attacking tennis and it was probably the best i have seen her play this year.

I am watching the game on foxtel, and she's wearing white shorts with black leggings

Internet working again now on my PC (thank goodness!), so am now watching. She often wears shorts. I think its quite cool there at the moment so I assume the leggings are to keep her legs warm. I noticed one of the male players wearing something under his shirt e other day (can't remember who).
