A few years back I started a thread to track the milestones which were within reach that year.

We've got plenty on the horizon in 2016 so I decided yesterday afternoon to compile a list and track them again this year.

Unbelievably, the club then published an article on the website last night on the exact topic - they must have a direct line to my brain.

Here's a link to the article: 2016 milestones

Here are the milestones within striking distance in 2016 - some mentioned in the article, some not.

GAMES

250 games
- Kade Simpson (currently on 242)

200 games
- Bryce Gibbs (currently on 187)
**Bryce will become the 3rd youngest player to reach the 200 game milestone in CFC history if he gets there in 2016
- Andrew Walker (currently on 191)
- Dale Thomas (currently on 182)

150 games
- Michael Jamison (currently on 145 games)

100 games
- Zach Tuohy (currently on 98 games)
- Ed Curnow (currently on 88 games)
- Matthew Wright (currently on 94 games)
- Cam Wood (currently on 88 games)

50 games
- Sam Docherty (currently on 48 games)
- Jason Tutt (currently on 39 games)

Miscellaneous
- Dennis Armfield (currently on 125 games) is set to surpass Ollie Grieve (130 games) as player to play most games in the #27 jumper.

GOALS

150 goals

- Kade Simpson (currently on 124)
- Andrew Walker (currently on 130)
- Dale Thomas (currently on 135)

100 goals
- Andrejs Everitt (currently on 76)

50 goals
- Zach Tuohy (currently on 34)
- Sam Kerridge (currently on 23)

Miscellaneous
- Marc Murphy needs 1 goal to pass Mike Fitzpatrick as player to kick the most goals in the #3 jumper (currently on 150 goals)

- Kade Simpson needs 6 goals to pass Leo Brereton as player to kick the most goals in the #6 jumper (currently on 124 goals)

- Dale Thomas needs 6 goals to pass Ang Christou as player to kick the most goals in the #39 jumper (currently on 14 goals)

BROWNLOW MEDAL
- Marc Murphy needs 6 Brownlow medal votes to become the 7th player in the history of the Carlton Football Club to poll 100 votes.

DEBUTANTES
- Brendon Bolton will become the 33rd senior coach of the Carlton Football Club.

- There are currently 11 (7 senior listed, 4 rookie listed) players who are yet to make their AFL debuts

Which of the above milestones will be hit? Which won't? Why/why not? Are there any milestones I have overlooked?

I'll keep this thread updated throughout the season.

Nice. Some are obviously a fair bit more likely than others.
I would hope that Simmo, Gibbs, Walker, Daisy, Jamo, Tuohy, Curnow and Doc all reach their respective games milestones. Can't see Wood reaching his (we are probably in a bit of strife if he does). Tutt an outside chance. I'd give Wright a better than 50/50 chance.
Can't see Simmo kicking 26 goals this year (on previous years that would almost make him our leading goal kicker), as he's only managed a high of 17 on 3 occasions. I'd expect Walker and Daisy to kick 150 if they both get reasonable time forward.
Everitt could get his 100 if he can continue his 2015 form, but otherwise an outside chance.
I find it amusing that after 2 seasons and 25 games in Navy Blue, Daisy only needs 6 goals to beat a 150+ game, 11 season club vet (yes, I realise Ang played in defense, but I still find it amusing).

What's our record for debuts in a season? Career debut as well as club. On reflection it will be hard to toss Round 1, 1864.
