Talking about the good things people do on the board be it a single post or a body of work is never a bad thing and something we should encourage throughout the year. I hope you will participate next time.

The board isn't as good as it used to be because people don't bother putting in when we try to do good things but are happy to complain about how much it sucks constantly

This board is pretty much a reflection of how society has come - split down the middle with everyone taking refuge in of two camps, losing sight of the bigger picture and the fact we are here for the common good.
That and the fact we have lost our tolerance and can no longer properly debate an issue with a view to an end.
We have one one side disgruntled, perhaps largely older supporters, whose views have been hardened by 30-plus years of largely mediocrity, who yearn for success but query the direction of the club and its caretakers based on experience and seeing mistakes over and over. I sit here ...... and comfortable doing so.
Then there is there is the others who believe the club, its players, officials etc. are off-limits and can't be criticised and everything Tigers is good and think any criticism is evidence that you are not really a Tigers supporter and you want them to fail.
Which is why I love the "Richmond has the #14 ranked midfield' type threads, as it is just another example of how the 'outside our four walls' brigade views us and how we've given them plenty of ammunition to do so.
