Tv coverage on Fox Sports, looks like no red button which frustrates to no end.

If anyone has a VPN, Eurosport player is fantastic for the French. 5 euros or something like that for a month, gives you pretty much all the courts.

Saville on struggle street. Down 57 34

Saville lost but Barton won. So there's that.

Going for the first ever time this weekend and can't wait. Have done Wimbledon before and that was special (the day Kyrgios beat Nadal) but expecting this to be a completely different experience.

Sunday we've got a Ground Pass and we've got Court 1 tickets for Monday, any recommendations on things we must see while we're in the grounds? I've heard Court 1 is amazing for atmosphere.

Any tips would be great!

Dunno except the French rock up whenever and the place is crowded. Never been to Roland Garros or Wimbledon.

That's so cool you'll be at the French Open, never been there so not sure what it will be like. Ive been to the US Open and it's a very different atmosphere to the Aust Open though Ive always wanted to go to Wimbledon and French Open.

Aussie Ben Mitchell loses. Also James Ward and Marina Erakovic and Petra Cetkovska

ATM Cirstea is coasting. Can't believe Hantuchova has to qualify. Geez

8th seed Belinda Bencic is out. That pushes Timea Bacsinszky to 8th, Sara Errani to 16th and Monica Niculescu to the 32nd seed.

Lauren Davis will take Bencic spot.

I went to Roland Garros last year. Only spent 5 hours or so there i reckon(only one day in Paris so i had other things to do) and I had CC seats. So i lived the high life. The grounds seemed really busy and small. i didnt get in to see any of the other courts, but i didnt really try too hard. i didnt really explore too much either. i stupidity wore jeans on a hot day.

I remember i didnt have anything to eat in the ground, but i cant remember if that was because i packed some French supermarket goodies(which were really yummy) or if the prices and lines were too big.

being crème solaire(sunscreen) and all that. didnt seem to have too much shelter.

weirdly, one thing i do remember is that the tournament staff wore cute outfits, and had badges which indicated which languages they spoke. so it is good that i remember the most important thing then.

Caro pulls out. So that pushes Jelena Ostapenko as the 32nd seed.

Lucky people going to the event, have a great time. I went in 2013 for the finals weekend so I'm not sure how to go about a ground pass in the first week but I just remember being surprised with how small the place was. It's an incredibly scenic and beautiful place full of trees a park sort of feel but there certainly isn't as big as Melbourne park. I love Phillippe Chartier, you feel quite close to the action and amazing atmosphere, hope the roof doesn't ruin that. It's an unique place that's for sure

What is everyone's predictions for the French Open?

Men: Nadal defeats Djokovic
Women: Muguruza defeats Suarez Navarro

Smokey/roughie:
Men: Thiem
Women: Bacsinszky

Men's: Agut because Agut have it all
Women's: Camila Giorgi because it's Camila.

Serious though: Murray & Serena
Dark horses: Tsonga & Keys

Matthew Barton just goes down to veteran Stepanek 6-3 2-6 5-7 in Q2 of qualifying.

Dani Hani still winning somewhat. Best part is that if she loses in the first round, she'll get more points than she would have if she was a first round main draw exit.
