Have got a gut feel that if Rayner is gone before our pick and Cerra is there SOS wouldn't hesitate for a second
A lot of the reason Cerra keeps being brought up is because we have interviewed him several times, we haven't heard about how many times we have interviewed Dow. Just because we are very interested in Cerra, it doesn't mean we would pick him ahead of Dow. People in the media still think Dow is a good chance for us, this tells me we have interviewed him numerous times as well.

My preference is for Dow because I think he would really compliment what we have, but what the hell would I know, if SOS rates Cerra higher then we should take him and I will be happy. Can't wait for the draft.

Cerra reminds me of Toumpos.. But what do i know.

Dow's explosive speed is everything we need, his composure with the ball from the tapes i have seen was what impressed me and his decision making by foot was excellent. Strong mark, kicks goals, as good inside as he is out.. What is not to love.

I would expect we would have interviewed everyone in the top 15.. Every chance someone SOS rates a top 5 pick slides to 10..

Chris Judd was pick 3, therefore anything less than 250 games, 2 Brownlows, 6 AAs and 5 B&Fs is a failure.

For every Chris Judd or Dustin Martin there's a Carl Dilena or Jody Arnol.

That being said, SOS seems to have a pretty good read on it all, so the equivalent of this will do nicely:

3. Judd/Martin
10. Dangerfield
30. Jonathon Brown/Dan Hannebery (mids mids mids...)

FYI can sort by pick, year, club, origin and player name.

Just to put the players speed into perspective. Some results at different stages of the year

Don't discount the Yo-Yo testing, which is a combination of endurance and increasing the speed of each leg

So LDU and Rayner are quicker off the mark but Bonar has a higher top speed?

You'd certainly want LDU inside, Rayner inside or on the shorter lead and Bonar on the longer leads or inside out.

Look closely at Cerra again class, composure makes time stand still with a hard edge to his game don't get me wrong I would love Dow at 3 with his speed and explosiveness out of a pack all I do know is whoever we pick will be a star

I don't have those results, just breaking things down a little, as there is not a lot of difference in that list when discussing short bust speed, if they all sprinted for 3 seconds, only 1/2 a metre between them when they hit 20 metres

Ah yes, Jim "Deep Blue" Mae

I imagine him with 15 monitors stuck together, stock-broker style, with each screen dedicated to a separate BF thread..... and his brain pulsating away, making rhythmic electronic sounds.....

Jimmae has 15 screens? WTF?!?

He wouldn't even have one screen for each concurrent multi-quote!

Not in what arr0w posted, but the stuff handed out to clubs would break down 5 metre splits IIRC.

Both players are quality options at pick 3, I’d be chaffed with either lad but don’t forget Cerra's a nice Italian boy, Silvagni may just be swayed by that fact.

If LDU and Rayner have traveled less distance after 3 seconds wouldn't they be slower off the mark?

Yeah. I was reading that as a time not a distance.

If LDU and Rayner have traveled less distance after 3 seconds wouldn't they be slower off the mark?

Not necessarily. It depends largely on how you define "off the mark". Player 1 may burst out of the blocks in front at t=1s but be pipped right on the line at t=3s, as an example.

See, just when you thought Calculas was useless in the real world :)
