Has great speed, but like many pure inside mids, not exactly safe and consistent by foot
I thought pick 10 might be too high for Bonar but when l watch his highlights l start to think he might not last until 10.
His size and speed is impressive. Has so much going for him.

Very underrated IMO
Not out of the question at all.
Is it fair to say that there are only 4 players, we can be confident won't slip out of the top 10: Cerra, Dow, LDU and Rayner?
After that, you can make a case for any of Stephenson, Higgins, Coffield, Brayshaw, Bonar, Fogarty, Constable and Clark being available at out #10.

10. Leaving us a choice of Stephenson, Higgins, Coffield, Fogarty and Constable.
Agree. I rate Constable easily top 10, Coffield as well. Others don't. I've seen Fogarty rated anywhere from 1 to 12. Higgins could be anywhere between 5 & 20. Bonar hard to pick and Naughton & Brander are more likely to be picked on needs. Interviews and knowing their personalities/qualities will mean so much

Me too. Other player may be sexier and have better highlights, but I'm really liking the terriers that won't back down, in this draft.
Dow, Brayshaw, Clark all have something that just seems to fit for where we're going and for what we need.
Not saying that others haven't but I'd be pretty happy should we somehow manage to get 2 out of these 3.
We’ll definitely get a good player at 10. I really like Fogarty at this spot. On a line with Rayner in my opinion. Any of LDU, Dow or Cerra at 3. Fogarty at 10. Pure.
I think he is pefect for the Saints but will they risk a Sth Australian? The fact that the Crows or Power don't have a pick inside top 10 he could go anyhwere
If Hunter Clark and Bonar were available at this Pick then I’d take Clark everyday of the week.
We have Cripps, Kennedy, Ed Curnow, Kerridge to do the in and under work which going by highlights is exactly what Bonar does.
And that’s without taking into effect injury history.
Clark looks dynamic in the clips I’ve seen, no idea about the numbers he racks up and they can’t be big numbers yet otherwise he’d be well in the frame for pick 1 but he has very good evasive skills and the disposal is delicious

I say pick the best available mid who is Victorian, even better if they have size and can roll forward and hit the scoreboard, not asking much am I? Higgins, Coffield, Brayshaw, Constable. We really need depth in the engine room. Top picks from interstate just worry me. We all love Cripps and SPS but tell me you don't wonder if one day you wake up to the news of a "offer too good to refuse". Either way its exciting having 2 picks inside 10 that are likely to really add to an already impressive group of young guns. Go Blues!
Many of the top prospects this year are Victorian, makes things easier for us at 3 and 10.
Nonetheless, thankfully at Carlton we take the risk every time if the player is deemed absolutely best available.
SPS is the best player of the 2016 draft. All day.

Freo have more or less ruled out recruiting Naughton at 5. I wish they would, but it looks unlikely. Something about not recruiting nothing but tall defenders with high picks. Seems a strange concept to me

I agree with him/her if your a Victorian club with early picks and given the go home factor is in play more than ever why risk it . Pick them off when they return to Victoria from interstate clubs win/win imo . When we rise up the ladder thats a different story . Possibly 1 or 2 of the players youve mentioned will not finish their careers at Carlton imo with us missing potentially the prime of their careers . FA has changed the landscape significantly enabling players to move home more freely . Like it or not Victoria is where a large chunk of draftees are chosen from each year .
